It thrills my heart greatly to see this project come to fruition. This debut gospel Music piece is the original work of @Dezzypraiz, one of my tenor singers in my church Choir. It is a great blessing to see this message launch to the world under my watch.
I can imagine the great joy that was in the heart of Simeon, the priest who dedicated baby Jesus as recorded in Luke 2: 30. I am so happy that it pleased God to have this project out to bless the world under my watch.
@Dezzypraiz has been a blessing to the body of Christ and a committed member of my Choir in Nigeria. I am not surprise at where God is taking him to as there is always a blessing for service.
I wish you create some time to bless your soul with this music piece titled "I love You Lord." In the truest sence, we cannot love God enough when we look back at what sacrifices He has done for humanity by taking the form of man and accepting to die for the sins of man just to restore back the dignity He gave to man in the beginning.
Loving God is the first command of the New Testament given to the church. God would not require our money neither our services. All God desires is a heart that would worship Him in reverence and love.
Remember, He first loved us...
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life - John 3: 16
God has exampled love to humanity through Christ Jesus who died for us while we were yet sinners (Romans 5: 8). Love is the identity of God. Hear what scripture says in John 4:7-8 (ESV):
“Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God. Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love.”
In Matthew 22:37, scripture shows Jesus teaching that all that God requires from us is love.
Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
How then Do we Love God?
Let me share a few ways that we can savour our love for God. Read the following Scriptures and depend on the Holy Spirit for explanation.
- By obeying His commands.
If you love me, you will obey what I command. – John 14:15 (NIV)
- By loving your brothers.
“If someone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen?” – 1 John 4:20 (NKJV)
- Do not love money.
“No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and money.” – Matthew 6:24 ESV
How much do you love God?
@Heartchurch and @Dezzypraiz are set as beneficiaries to part of this post's rewards.
