A Psalm of David
- Plead my cause, O LORD, with them that strive with me: fight against them that fight against me.
- Take hold of shield and buckler, and stand up for mine help.
- Draw out also the spear, and stop the way against them that persecute me: say unto my soul, I am thy salvation.
- Let them be confounded and put to shame that seek after my soul: let them be turned back and brought to confusion that devise my hurt.
- Let them be as chaff before the wind: and let the angel of the LORD chase them. Psalm 35 vs 1 - 5
O Lord arise and plea my cause
Be thou my shield and protection
Lord I have none other than you

Lord please be my shield and buckle
For my strength would fail me again
Thy shield is better than my till and toils
Thy buckle can ensure my hill
That it stumbles not against the stone.
Lord, please protect me from my weakness
May they not use my flaw to punish my meekness
Koro ami nyeneke owo efen ke ebere afo
Oh Lord my God
Many are they that rise up against my success
They lay on on my path to await me
Guide then my foot against such path.

Lead me Lord too safety
Do not let those that wait for me to succeed
Those who seek to shame me Lord
Let them be put to shame
More that my lips may not say
More that my heart cries out
Let they appear before thee Lord
Chase them away from my sight
For I am not comfortable living in fear
Because of my afflictions awaiting me in the doorstep
