Hola, ¿qué tal?, feliz inicio de este mes maravilloso como lo es diciembre, el mes de los regalos y de las alegrías, así como también lo que me gusta a mí, la comida y los compartir en familia.
En seguidilla de lo que les comenté de mi fin de semana, que la verdad fue muy movido, debía decirles lo difícil que es ahorita conseguir las cosas que queremos, pero que con esfuerzo, siempre que uno quiera, se puede. Por eso inicié el post comentando que es el mes de los regalos; por lo menos yo, desde que trabajo, tengo la cuestión de que a fin de año siempre me hago un regalo por todo mi año trabajado y este año no sería la excepción.
Hello, how are you? Happy start to this wonderful month of December, the month of gifts and joy, as well as what I like, food and sharing with family.
Following on from what I told you about my weekend, which was actually very eventful, I should mention how difficult it is right now to get the things we want, but with effort, if you really want something, you can achieve it. That's why I started the post by saying that it's the month of gifts; at least for me, ever since I started working, I've always given myself a gift at the end of the year for all my hard work, and this year will be no exception.
Este año la meta era una cama debido a que ahora tengo a Jade y era super mega incomodo dormir con ella en mi camita individual porque el espacio era angosto. Por cierto, a los que tengan hijos, hagan una sola inversión, cómprenles una cama matrimonial y hacen un gasto de una sola vez porque luego sus hijos crecen y, como yo, créanme que esas camas pequeñas les van a desagradar, así que les gustará este consejo, jajajajaja.
Resulta que yo por ahora no tenía para la cama que quería, pero siempre he tenido algo muy presente y es lo siguiente: primero lo que se quiere y luego lo que se puede. Yo quería una cama así toda bella con su espaldar, pero por ahora sabía que me conformaría con una sencilla por lo costosas que estaban.
This year, the goal was a bed because now I have Jade, and it was super mega uncomfortable to sleep with her in my single bed because the space was so narrow. By the way, for those of you who have children, make a single investment, buy them a double bed and make a one-time expense because then your children will grow up and, like me, believe me, they will dislike those small beds, so you will like this advice, hahahaha.
It turns out that for now I couldn't afford the bed I wanted, but I've always kept something in mind, and that is: first what you want, then what you can afford. I wanted a beautiful bed with a headboard, but for now I knew I would settle for a simple one because of how expensive they were.
Una cama con las 3B; seguramente lo han escuchado y quizás no. Eso significa que tengan las tres cosas, bueno, bonito y barato. Por suerte pude encontrar un bot de madera que me pareció muy cómodo en 100$. Ustedes dirán caro, cierto, pero es que este año me antojé de lo más caro; los que les comenté que quería valen entre 150 y 200, lo cual es bastante.
El colchón lo conseguí en Traki, que aunque también se vea costoso, por suerte Traki tiene cashea, lo cual es un alivio. Había dos opciones: uno un poco más sencillo, el azul, y el blanco mucho más resistente en 225 $, que fue el que terminé comprando porque me pareció una mejor inversión a futuro y, bueno, en el centro muchos no tenían cashea y los más simples iniciaban con ese precio 225$, asi que ¿les parece que fue una buena opción?
A bed with the 3Bs; you've probably heard of it, or maybe not. It means that it has all three things: good, nice and cheap. Luckily, I found a wooden bed that I thought was very comfortable for £100. You might say that's expensive, and you're right, but this year I wanted the most expensive one; the ones I told you about cost between £150 and £200, which is quite a lot.
I got the mattress at Traki, which also looks expensive, but luckily Traki has cashback, which is a relief. There were two options: a slightly simpler one, the blue one, and the much more resistant white one for £225, which is the one I ended up buying because I thought it was a better investment for the future and, well, in the city centre, many didn't have cashback and the simplest ones started at that price of £225, so do you think it was a good choice?
