En esta oportunidad quiero compartirles un trabajo un poco fastidioso que normalmente le hago al enfriador de mi casa y consiste en quitarle el exceso de escarcha que se le forma y no deja que la puerta cierre en forma hermética. Es un trabajo necesario y fácil de hacer.
El procedimiento consiste en desconectar el aparato el día anterior. Aproximadamente a las 24 horas debe haber bajado el hielo o por lo menos debe estar fácil de sacar. Algo muy importante: jamas intente usar cuchillos o cualquier instrumento metálico para sacar el hielo porque podría romper las paredes del enfriador con daños irreversibles.
El enfriador trae una paleta plástica para raspar el hielo de las paredes pero yo les aconsejo que nunca la usen, solo basta con desconectar el enfriador y dejarlo descongelar sin tocar las paredes.
Una vez descongelado, sacamos el hielo suelto y le quitamos un tapón plástico que trae en el fondo y otro tapón que se encuentra por un costado en la parte externa, a fin de que salga el agua acumulada.
El paso que sigue es muy importante y consiste en pasar un paño seco por todas las superficies húmedas para dejarlas completamente secas.
Finalmente se colocan nuevamente los tapones y se conecta el aparato al toma corriente, se espera un tiempo prudencial para que las paredes se enfríen y es en ese momento cuando podemos volver a llenar el enfriador con los alimentos.
Como ven es un trabajo muy sencillo pero que debemos hacerlo con cuidado para obtener los mejores resultados.

This time I want to share with you a little annoying work that I usually do to the cooler in my house and is to remove the excess frost that forms and does not let the door close tightly. It is a necessary and easy job to do.
The procedure consists of disconnecting the appliance the day before. Approximately 24 hours later, the ice should be gone or at least easy to remove. Something very important: never try to use knives or any metal instrument to remove the ice because it could break the walls of the cooler with irreversible damage.
The cooler comes with a plastic paddle to scrape the ice off the walls but I advise you never to use it, just unplug the cooler and let it defrost without touching the walls.
Once defrosted, we remove the loose ice and remove a plastic plug that brings in the bottom and another plug that is on the side on the outside, so that the accumulated water comes out.
The next step is very important and consists of passing a dry cloth over all the wet surfaces to make them completely dry.
Finally the plugs are placed again and the appliance is connected to the outlet, wait a reasonable time for the walls to cool down and then we can fill the cooler again with food.
As you can see it is a very simple job but we must do it carefully to get the best results.
