This week at home was super laundry week 👕👗😓 and in this sense I return to the warmest home HS, to share some tips that have made my housework easier at home 🏡 in terms of washing clothes, especially cotton fabrics. Stay with me and I'll comment ✍️...

Cotton is a fiber used for the manufacture of very versatile fabrics, in addition the garments in this type of material are comfortable, soft, resistant despite the weather, can be joined with other fabrics such as polyester, is excellent absorbent and an ally for people who sweat too much as in my case 😲, also serves as an insulator which allows to protect the skin from strong drafts. It is always advisable to use cotton underwear or failing that the inner lining, which contributes to the Ph balance of our intimate area.

Sharing this kind of information is super important because we need to know the quality of our garments and thus offer them the proper care.

✅Perhaps many@s when washing clothes in the washing machine, we place the garments inside out as a natural act or at least it happens to me, and that simple detail is doing a lot for our fabrics and if they are cotton much more. This way of washing cotton garments avoids wear and tear and keeps them alive for much more tiempo⏲️.

✅Another little thing to take into account when washing this type of fabrics is the separation of colors 🌈 when washing. The darks in a single load and the colored clothes in another, in this way we not only avoid staining our garments, but also the colors are maintained for much longer.

✅Cotton garments should preferably be washed in cold water, with short cycles and neutral or non-aggressive soaps. This helps to maintain the durability of the garments over time. Personally I wash clothes in cold water and cotton clothes in cycles of 15 minutes, no more.

✅If cotton garments are concerned it is important to cure stains in a hand pre-wash, without actually scrubbing the stain. From my own experience when we scrub the stain it sticks even more to the fabric, so we better let it sit for a couple of hours and if necessary we can add baking soda with lemon 🍋 so the stain will give way.

✅One last suggestion for washing cotton garments, is not to put them in the dryer, the best we can do is to put them to dry in the open air, without being exposed to the sun 😎. This tips will help them to avoid wear and tear from the heat of the dryer, loss of color and will keep it alive for a long time, otherwise the fiber of this type of fabrics will weaken.

In a few words buying cotton garments is one of the best options when choosing, and based on the virtues that this material has, my family uses a lot of clothes with these fabrics. Considering its benefits it is important to treat this type of fabrics as it should, so we will have clothes for a while 👗. Cotton fabrics are breathable, avoid bad odors and the only thing we must do to enjoy these garments for a long time is to give them the care they deserve, which is why the tips I mention above are proven and 100% recommended.
