Un cordial saludo a toda la comunidad de Home Solutions, hoy les quiero hablar sobre la importancia de la creatividad en el momento de hacerle algunos arreglos a nuestro hogar, sobre todo cuando estamos escasos de dinero para reparar algunas cosas que con el tiempo se han puesto feas.
La verdad es que hoy en día, los precios de los materiales están bastante costosos, por lo que tenemos que inventar e inventar para intentar cambiarle la apariencia a algunas cosas en la casa, sin tener que gastar tanto dinero, LES CUENTO que en el mes de Diciembre, mi esposa quería tapizar los asientos de las sillas del comedor porque la tela se veía muy manchada y además de esto, el color de la tela era de color azul, la cual no combinaba con la tela de los muebles que eran marrón y verde, pero como solo teníamos un dinero para comprar las cortinas del balcón, mi esposa decidió que mejor era lavar la tela de los asientos de esas sillas y listo.
La creatividad es importante al momento de arreglar algunas cosas en el hogar
Bueno mis amigos, para seguir echándoles el cuento, el 19 de Diciembre del año pasado, mi esposa salió a comprar las cortinas, tal y como lo tenia planeado, compró 3 juegos de cortinas de color beige por una cara y por el reverso, se veía solo la parte plástica, la verdad es que estas cortinas no dejaban pasar la luz desde afuera, por lo que mi esposa decidió comprar otra cortina sin el protector plástico, con la idea de colocarla entre esas dos cortinas con protectores, para que se filtrara la luz y no quedara tan oscuro el ambiente, les cuento que las cortinas quedaron muy bonitas y sobre todo elegantes.
Ahhh, pero quedó una cortina, ¿Qué pasó con esa cortina?
Bueno mis amigos, cuando vi que había sobrado una cortina, enseguida comencé a medir los asientos de las sillas del comedor para saber la cantidad de tela de la cortina que había sobrado, alcanzaba para el tapizado de las 5 sillas y pude constatar que la tela si alcanzaba para todas las sillas, así que sin pensarlo dos veces, busqué mi engrapadora de tapicería y comencé a cortar la tela para las 5 sillas, lo bueno es que la tela de la cortina es bastante gruesa y posee el protector plástico en la cara posterior, lo que la hace impermeable. otra cosa importante de la tela, es que la cortina costó 8 dólares con medidas de 1.40 m de ancho por 2 m de alto, lo cual fue suficiente para tapizar las 6 sillas.

Como pueden ver, la tela de la silla es azul y está bastante manchada, así que quisimos retapizarla con una tela que combinara con el mueble. ¡Y miren, sin pensarlo, apareció la tela perfecta! Como mencioné antes, la cortina sobrante fue suficiente para las cinco sillas.

·Bueno amigos, les confieso que después de tapizar las sillas del comedor, me quedé mirándolas y no podía creerlo. La verdad es que no sé cómo se me ocurrió usar la tela de la cortina para tapizarlas, así que la creatividad me invadió ese día y gracias a Dios pude tapizarlas, que era uno de los detalles que faltaba para que el ambiente se viera bien para Navidad.

Let me tell you, in December, my wife wanted to reupholster the dining room chair seats because the fabric looked very stained, and besides that, the fabric was blue, which didn't match the brown and green furniture. But since we only had enough money to buy curtains for the balcony, my wife decided it would be better to just wash the fabric of the chair seats and that was it.
Creativity is important when fixing things around the house
Well, my friends, to continue the story, on December 19th of last year, my wife went out to buy curtains, just as she had planned. She bought three sets of beige curtains, one side of which was beige, and the other side only showed the plastic lining. The truth is, these curtains didn't let any light in from outside, so my wife decided to buy another curtain without the plastic lining, with the idea of placing it between the two curtains with linings, so that the light would filter through and the room wouldn't be so dark. I have to tell you, the curtains turned out very beautiful and, above all, elegant.
Ahhh, but there was one curtain left over. What happened to it?
Well, my friends, when I saw that there was one curtain left over, I immediately started measuring the dining room chairs to figure out how much fabric was left. It was enough to reupholster all five chairs, and I confirmed that there was indeed enough fabric for all of them. So, without thinking twice, I grabbed my upholstery stapler and started cutting the fabric for the five chairs. The good thing is that the curtain fabric is quite thick and has a plastic backing, which makes it waterproof. Another important thing about the fabric is that the curtain cost $8 and measured 1.40 meters wide by 2 meters high, which was enough to reupholster all six chairs.

As you can see, the chair's fabric is blue and quite stained, so we wanted to reupholster it with a fabric that would match the furniture. And look, without even thinking about it, the perfect fabric appeared! As I mentioned before, the leftover curtain was enough for all five chairs.

Well my friends, I confess that after finishing reupholstering the dining room chairs, I stood looking at them and couldn't believe it. The truth is, I don't know how the idea of using the curtain fabric to reupholster these chairs came to my mind, so creativity took over that day and thank God I was able to reupholster the chairs, which was one of the details that was missing to make the atmosphere look good for Christmas.
