Hoy es jueves de mito o realidad en la comunidad y quise probar un truco que vi en Internet para hacer nieve falsa para el arbolito de navidad con solo dos ingredientes, así que sigan leyendo para saber si funcionó o no.

Como saben este año se me ocurrió cambiar toda la decoración navideña en casa y una de las cosas que quería hacer era tener un arbolito nevado ya que están en tendencia y aparte de verse lindos van perfectos para mi decoración nórdica, así que estuve buscando en la web cómo hacerla sin gastar mucho y en medio de mi búsqueda encontré un video en el que solo con jabón de barra para lavar ropa, almidón de maíz y agua se lograba el efecto nevado así que me dispuse a probar qué tan bien quedaba, y por aquí les comparto las medidas.

Necesitas

1 Jabón blanclo de barra para lavar ropa
3 cucharadas de almidón de maiz (maicena)
3/4 de tazas de agua

Como ven son muy pocos materiales y entre el jabón y la maicena no llegan a 2$ así que es bastante accesible y súper sencillo de hacer ya que solo debes rallar el jabón, agregar las 3 cucharadas de maicena, mezclar muy bien, agregar el agua y batir con una batidora para tortas hasta que se vea como una crema y se haya disuelto todo el jabón, y así ya quedaba lista la nieve falsa, así que hice todo al pie de la letra y la verdad que se veía muy bien, ya solo quedaba probar a ver que tal resultaba.

Por supuesto en este punto mis hijos estaban atentos y listos para llenar de "nieve" el arbolito, lo que hicimos con un pincel y probamos de muchas maneras hasta que se viera lo mejor posible y la verdad es que se iba viendo bastante lindo aunque me preocupaba que no se secara o que cuando secara la espuma desapareciera, y qué creen, ¿funcionaría o no?

Pues luego de unas horas la "nieve" estaba seca y se veía bellísima solo que el volumen disminuyó bastante, y en el árbol del video se seguía viendo igual después que secó, así que yo diría que es 80% real 🤣, pero independientemente de eso, el arbolito se ve hermoso y pronto les mostraré cómo quedó con todas las decoraciones que hicimos en casa. ¿A ustedes que les parece este efecto nevado?

A nosotros nos encantó y le pusimos hasta a las guirnaldas de las ventanas, la verdad les da un toque muy lindo y lo mejor es que es fácil y económico.

You will need

1 white bar of laundry soap
3 tablespoons of cornstarch
3/4 cups of water

As you can see there are very few materials and between the soap and the cornstarch they do not reach 2$ so it is quite accessible and super simple to make since you only have to grate the soap, add the 3 tablespoons of cornstarch, mix very well, add the water and beat with a cake mixer until it looks like a cream and all the soap has dissolved, and so the fake snow was ready, so I did everything to the letter and the truth is that it looked very good, and only remained to try to see how it turned out.

Of course at this point my kids were attentive and ready to fill the tree with "snow ", which we did with a brush and tried many ways until it looked as good as possible and the truth is that it was looking pretty nice although I was worried that it would not dry or that when it dried the foam would disappear, and what do you think, **would it work or not? ** Well after a few hours the "snow " was dry and it looked beautiful but the volume decreased a lot, and the tree in the video still looked the same after it dried, so I would say that it is 80% real 🤣, but regardless of that, the tree looks beautiful and soon I will show you how it looked with all the decorations we did at home.
