En este blog seguimos en la onda navideña, y es que cambiar por completo el estilo de decoración en casa y con poco presupuesto no es cosa de juego, pero luego de ver por días (muchos, demasiados, y sigo) ideas en pinterest creo que puedo lograrlo, y hoy les comparto algunas ideas que pueden poner en práctica para decorar su hogar en esta temporada navideña sin gastarse todo el presupuesto en ello.

Pesebre en un vaso

Esta idea la vi en muchísimas presentaciones, pero la verdad ninguna en un vaso como tal, la gran mayoría estaban elaborados en bols de vidrio o algún otro recipiente del mismo material, mucho más grandes que un vaso, dentro del cual se colocaba el "nacimiento" que conocemos tradicionalmente: establo, María, José y el niño Jesús, algunos incluían la estrella y el ángel, pero como la idea es trabajar con lo que tenemos en casa, hice mi propia versión en un vaso.

Simplemente necesitas: un vaso de vidrio, recortes de cartulina en los colores que desees, una tapa plástica de esas que traen las papas pringles, un poco de imaginación, y listo.

Villas navideñas

Forman parte importante en las decoraciones navideñas del estilo nórdico, y de ellas vi una gran variedad, algunas presentadas directamente sobre repisas y muebles, otras en una especie de bandeja, ya sea circular, cuadrada, rectangular y de distintos materiales. Básicamente es un pequeño pueblo en el que verás casitas, pinos navideños y muchas luces.

Lo genial de esta idea es que puedes adaptarla a tu gusto, a los materiales que tengas en casa y a tu presupuesto. En mi caso, utilicé cartulina sulfatada blanca, ya que mi decoración va a ser en tonos blancos, grises y beige, pero vi casitas con techos de colores, hechas con cartón de cajas con algunos detalles en blanco, de madera, de cerámica, en fin, el límite es el cielo. La idea es trabajar según tu presupuesto y el estilo de decoración que estás usando.

Bambalinas

Las infaltables para nuestro arbolito o guirnaldas navideñas, y es que definitivamente son las que dan vida a nuestras decoraciones en casa, y te sorprenderán la cantidad de ellas que puedes hacer con materiales tan sencillos como cartón, hilo de yute o estambre, es que incluso solo con papel y silicon puedes hacer bellezas, basta con buscar las que se adapten a tu gusto y presupuesto, y poner manos a la obra.

De todas las cosas que vi para esta temporada navideña 2024, esta fue la que me dio más trabajo, y les confieso que aún sigo sin definir del todo lo que quiero para el árbol, sin embargo ya tengo unas bellas bambalinas hechas con capacillos que la verdad amé, unas estrellitas en yute, y varias manualidades a la mitad, porque encontré otras que me gustaron más, y por otro lado, estoy modificando algunas de las que hice el año pasado para adaptarlas a este nuevo estilo.

Como ven, no necesitas gastar demasiado para hacer lucir tu hogar estas navidades, y para darte un ejemplo, gasté solo 1,5$ en las casitas para las villas navideñas entre silicón y cartulina, en el pesebre, absolutamente nada, porque al ser tan pequeño solo usé recortes de cartulinas y el mismo silicón de las casitas, pero tu puedes usar lo que tengas a la mano: fieltro, tela, foami, paletas, etc, y para las bambalinas, hice 6, con solo 1$ en capacillos y el mismo silicón, así que no hay excusas para que tu casa no luzca fabulosa esta Navidad.

You just need: a glass cup, cardboard cutouts in the colors you want, a plastic lid of those that come with the pringles chips, a little imagination, and that's it.

Christmas villages

They are an important part of the Nordic style Christmas decorations, and I saw a great variety of them, some presented directly on shelves and furniture, others in a kind of tray, either circular, square, rectangular and of different materials. Basically it is a small village where you will see little houses, Christmas pines and lots of lights.

The great thing about this idea is that you can adapt it to your taste, the materials you have at home and your budget. In my case, I used white greaseproof cardboard, since my decoration will be in white, gray and beige tones, but I saw little houses with colored roofs, made with cardboard from boxes with some details in white, wood, ceramic, in short, the sky is the limit. The idea is to work according to your budget and the style of decoration you are using.

Bambalinas

The infallible for our Christmas tree or garlands, and they are definitely the ones that give life to our decorations at home, and you will be surprised how many of them you can make with materials as simple as cardboard, jute thread or yarn, even with just paper and silicone you can make beauties, just look for the ones that suit your taste and budget, and get to work.

Of all the things I saw for this Christmas season 2024, this was the one that gave me the most work, and I confess that I still have not fully defined what I want for the tree, however I already have some beautiful bambalinas made with layers that I really loved, some jute stars, and several crafts in the middle, because I found others that I liked more, and on the other hand, I am modifying some of the ones I made last year to adapt them to this new style.

As you can see, you don't need to spend too much to show off your home this Christmas, and to give you an example, I spent only 1.5$ on the houses for the Christmas villages with silicone and cardboard, in the nativity scene, absolutely nothing, because being so small I only used cardboard cutouts and the same silicone of the houses, but you can use whatever you have at hand: felt, fabric, foami, popsicles, etc, and for the backdrops, I made 6, with only 1$ in layers and the same silicone, so there are no excuses for your house not to look fabulous this Christmas.
