Uno de los momentos más esperados en casa desde el mismo instante en que lo guardamos, es el de armar nuevamente el árbol de navidad, y debo confesar que no solo por mis hijos, sino por mí. La verdad es de mis momentos favoritos del año. Por eso quise que la decoración de nuestro árbol de navidad, fuese mi participación para la segunda iniciativa de Home Solutions, Navidad en casa, para la que invito a participar a 
Este año en particular, nuestro árbol de navidad, lo armamos con bastante anticipación, ya que el año pasado, lo hicimos súper tarde, y sentimos que no lo pudimos disfrutar lo suficiente, así que desde octubre nos activamos a crear nuevas decoraciones, tanto para el árbol como para las repisas y guirnaldas, para ya en noviembre tener listos la sala y comedor con todas sus decoraciones.
PREPARATIVOS
🎄 Lo primero que hacemos antes de armar nuestro árbol de navidad, es darle un buen baño, porque no imaginan la cantidad de polvo que se acumula aun cuando está guardado en un closet, y con dos niños alérgicos, sí o sí, hay que lavarlo muy bien antes de subirlo.
Este trabajo quedó a cargo de los niños, quienes con ayuda de la manguera retiraron todo el polvo acumulado. Lo dejamos al sol para secar, y finalmente lo subimos a la sala.
🎄 El siguiente paso, es separar todas las ramitas muy bien para que quede bien "esponjoso".
Esto lo hacemos por partes, ya que nuestro árbol tiene 4 piezas. Es un árbol de más de dos metros, así que toma tiempo dejarlo como queremos.
🎄 Una vez listo, el siguiente paso es el de colocar las luces, tratando de distribuirlas lo mejor posible. Nuestro árbol tiene unas 6 extensiones, y siento que aún le faltan, pero ya será para la próxima navidad que le pongamos más.
🎄 Después de conectadas todas las extensiones, el próximo paso es colocar la malla de navidad, la que armé como con una especie de arruchado que vi por Internet y que definitivamente me encantó.
🎄 Una vez que estuvo listo este paso, después de clasificar todos los adornos que usaríamos este año, llegó la parte más divertida, y es colocar todo en su lugar, pero debo decir que nunca queda como lo terminamos, pues mientras más lo veo, hay cosas que me parece no están donde deberían, de hecho, hace dos días lo desarme por completo y lo volví a armar. Sí, sí, así de loca soy. Pero ahora sí me gustó.
Este año, nuestro árbol luce nuevas decoraciones hechas por Miranda y por mí, como las etiquetas tipo pizarra, las estrellas musicales y unos hermosos corazones de fieltro, que combinaron perfectamente con todos los adornos de tela que ya teníamos de años anteriores.
Quedaron muchos adornos sin usar, pero creo que es una buena manera de darle un aspecto diferente a nuestro árbol de navidad, porque después de 14 años, seguía luciendo igual. Así que estoy más que feliz con el resultado. Y de esta manera, podemos decir que la navidad ha llegado a nuestro hogar. Espero ver sus participaciones a esta linda iniciativa navideña.

This year in particular, our Christmas tree, we put it together well in advance, since last year, we did it super late, and we felt that we could not enjoy it enough, so since October we activated ourselves to create new decorations, both for the tree and for the shelves and garlands, to already in November have ready the living room and dining room with all its decorations.
PREPARATIONS
🎄 The first thing we do before assembling our Christmas tree, is to give it a good bath, because you can't imagine the amount of dust that accumulates even when it is stored in a closet, and with two allergic children, yes or yes, you have to wash it very well before putting it up.
This job was left to the kids, who with the help of the hose removed all the accumulated dust. We left it in the sun to dry, and finally we took it up to the living room.
🎄 The next step is to separate all the twigs very well so that it is well "fluffy ".
We do this in parts, since our tree has 4 pieces. It's a tree of more than two meters, so it takes time to leave it as we want it.
🎄 Once ready, the next step is to place the lights, trying to distribute them as best as possible. Our tree has about 6 extensions, and I feel it's still missing, but it will be for next Christmas that we put more on it.
🎄 After all the extensions are connected, the next step is to place the Christmas netting, which I put together with a kind of crinkle that I saw on the Internet and that I definitely loved.
🎄 Once this step was ready, after sorting all the ornaments that we would use this year, came the most fun part, and that is to put everything in its place, but I must say that it never stays as we finished it, because the more I see it, there are things that I think are not where they should be, in fact, two days ago I disassembled it completely and put it back together. Yes, yes, that's how crazy I am. But now I really like it.
This year, our tree has new decorations made by Miranda and me, like the chalkboard labels, the musical stars and some beautiful felt hearts, which matched perfectly with all the fabric ornaments we already had from previous years.
There were a lot of ornaments left unused, but I think it's a good way to give a different look to our Christmas tree, because after 14 years, it still looked the same. So I am more than happy with the result. And this way, we can say that Christmas has come to our home. I hope to see your participation in this nice Christmas initiative.
