Nuevas reparaciones en casa (Esp/Ing)

Cuando empiezan las reparaciones en casa, el ambiente cambia de forma positiva, hay motivación y ánimo para emprender nuevas acciones y por tal razón, tras culminar el trabajo de pintura en la sala, procedimos a realizar reparaciones en las paredes del pasillo principal.

When repairs begin at home, the atmosphere changes in a positive way, there is motivation and encouragement to undertake new actions and for this reason, after finishing the painting work in the living room, we proceeded to make repairs on the walls of the main hallway.

Este caso fue un poco más complicado debido a que las paredes se estaban desmoronando debido a la presencia de cabillas oxidadas a nivel interno, lo que propiciaba la multiplicación de grietas. Ante tal panorama, identificamos el problema e iniciamos la ruptura de las paredes hasta descubrir la totalidad de cabillas en mal estado, con la ayuda de un cincel y una mandarria.

This case was a little more complicated because the walls were crumbling due to the presence of rusty stiffeners internally, which led to the multiplication of cracks. Faced with this situation, we identified the problem and began to break the walls until we discovered all of the bad stiffeners, with the help of a chisel and a mandarin.

Una vez realizada esta tarea, se procede a pasar un cepillo de alambre para quitar el óxido, luego se aplica fondo anticorrosivo con la ayuda de una brocha. Al día siguiente, se prepara la mezcla para rellenar la pared, en mi caso necesité de arena, cemento y agua. La primera aplicación de mezcla se hizo a partir de una proporción de cuatro a uno, es decir, cuatro medidas de arena por una de cemento.

Once this task is done, we proceed to pass a wire brush to remove the rust, then we apply an anticorrosive primer with the help of a brush. The next day, the mixture is prepared to fill the wall, in my case I needed sand, cement and water. The first application of the mixture was made from a proportion of four to one, that is, four measures of sand for one measure of cement.

Con la ayuda de una cuchara de albañil, un cepillo y un balde de goma se vertió mezcla hasta cubrir las cabillas y dejar las paredes preparadas para la aplicación de una segunda mezcla, que sería el friso, proceso que se realizaría al siguiente día.

With the help of a mason's spoon, a brush and a rubber bucket, the mixture was poured until the siding was covered and the walls were prepared for the application of a second mixture, which would be the frieze, a process that would be carried out the following day.

Una vez que las paredes estén frisadas, se pintan con la mezcla de agua de cal, sal y sábila cuya elaboración se explicó con anterioridad. La obra gris pararía a tener tono blanco en algunas horas. Al ser la pared verde esmeralda, buscamos el mismo color para pintar la sección reparada y una vez que se aplicó la primera mano, se notó la diferencia, la pared lucía impecable, como si no hubiese sido demolida y reparada hace pocos días atrás.

Once the walls are smoothed, they are painted with the mixture of lime water, salt and aloe vera, the preparation of which was explained previously. The gray work would stop to have a white tone in a few hours. As the wall was emerald green, we looked for the same color to paint the repaired section and once the first coat was applied, the difference was noticeable, the wall looked impeccable, as if it had not been demolished and repaired a few days ago.
