¡Qué experiencia más divertida! Hoy por primera vez visité una tienda especializada en pinturas y me sorprendió la cantidad de opciones y colores disponibles para pintar nuestro hogar 😍😯. Lo bueno es que fui con una idea clara en mente, pero si no, hubiese pasado horas allí mirando tantas posibilidades bonitas y modernas.
Después de ver muchas imágenes en pinterest sabía que quería un tono rosado que le diera un toque de color a mi oficina pero que al mismo tiempo transmitiera mucha paz. En la primera tienda que visité escogí el color "mora" pero no tenían disponibilidad de este. Entonces, fuimos a otra tienda y desde la entrada supimos que allí nos iría mejor. La paleta de colores era amplísima pero yo escogí uno que casualmente se parecía al anterior, pero con un nombre ligeramente diferente "Té de moras" 😅. Me enamoré de esta tonalidad y del nombre, así que no lo pensé mucho y fue la que escogí. Para mi sorpresa, preparan la pintura allí mismo en vivo y directo, así que vi todo el proceso: la búsqueda del código y cantidad de pigmentos en un catálogo, el uso de los mismos sobre una base blanca y finalmente la mezcla, en un aparato especializado (parecido a una lavadora) donde se coloca el bote de pintura por un par de minutos. Quizás se sorprendan de mi ignorancia pero es la primera vez que yo veo cómo preparan una pintura y me emocionó muchoo!! 😅😍
El señor finalmente me mostró el resultado y vi que es un tono de rosado un poco más claro que el que había visto en el catálogo. ¿Será que es un poco diferente el color en el bote de pintura en comparación con el que ya está aplicado en la pared? Espero que no sea muy diferente, pero tendré que esperar hasta el lunes para ver el resultado 💗 deséenme suerte!!!

Good thing I went with a clear idea in mind, but otherwise I would have spent hours there looking at so many beautiful and modern possibilities.
After looking at so many images on pinterest I knew I wanted a pink shade that would add a pop of color to my office but at the same time convey a lot of peace. In the first store I visited I chose the color "blackberry" but they didn't have availability of this one. So, we went to another store and from the entrance we knew that it would suit us better there. The color palette was extremely wide but I chose one that happened to look like the previous one, but with a slightly different name "Blackberry Tea" 😅. I fell in love with this shade and the name, so I didn't think much about it and it was the one I chose. To my surprise, they prepare the paint right there live and direct, so I saw the whole process: the search for the code and amount of pigments in a catalog, the use of them on a white base and finally the mixing, in a specialized device (similar to a washing machine) where the paint pot is placed for a couple of minutes. You may be surprised at my ignorance but it's the first time that I see how they prepare a paint and I was very excited!!!! 😅😍
The gentleman finally showed me the result and I saw that it's a shade of pink a little lighter than the one I had seen in the catalog. could it be that it's a little different color in the paint can compared to the one already applied on the wall? I hope it's not too different, but I'll have to wait until Monday to see the result 💗 wish me luck!!!!
