Some dogs have brought their humans to the protest. The dogs are a father and a daughter. The daughter is held by her junior human.
In Rhode Island, effective 1 October, a government mandate goes into effect mandating COVID vaccination among healthcare workers. As it stands now, those of them who won't get their jab by then will not be allowed to report to work.
This caused a series of protests. One of them was prior Wednesday, 25 August. The next one starts in an hour and a half - so this is why I am trying to get this one out now, to be fully honest. And my apologies for being so slow to report on this.
So what did I see on Saturday? Well, not one face that I saw on Wednesday - which means a different crowd showed up that time.

What I did not see was any crazy anti-vaccers who seem to be a propaganda invention more so than a real life phenomenon.People there - some vaccinated, some not - just wanted the freedom of choice and free will preserved for everybody.
Some dogs came with their humans. This one licked this writer's face!
There was lots of supportive honking and no detractors during the time this writer spent there.
Good times - and a very worthy cause!
