Novak Djokovic, one of the world's top tennis players has decided not to come to the US and not to play in the US Open. Reason: this country still requires foreigners coming in to be vaccinated against COVID. So he is not allowed to come in, even if he were to be tested prior to his arrival, even though he is perfectly healthy and is unlikely to suffer much from the virus, or to transmit it asymptomatically to anybody, And never mind that it is all but a known fact that these so-called "vaccines" don't really stop transmission. And never mind that hundreds of thousands of illegal immigrants have entered the US over the last year without having to clear any COVID-related requirements.
So yes, the COVID madness is still with us, even though it is largely out of the news cycle. And for those interested in restoration of normalcy of the society there is still lots of work to be done to counter tyrannical lockdowns, travel restrictions, etc.
