The Minneapolis Teachers' Union has recently signed a contract with the city which stipulates that White instructors are to be the first to be let go when a need arises to trim down the ranks and the last to be recalled, regardless of the seniority. Part of the rationale is that minority teachers are underrepresented and more of them are needed, ostensibly because students need to be taught by people who look like them so they can better relate to their teachers.
As far as I know, no scientific studies exist that show that one's ability to receive education is affected by the skin color of one's instructor. In general, rationale of that kind is to me on the same level as that presented by the likes of Joseph Goebbels or the KKK. This is pure racism, best I can tell, which now is entering the realm of official policy.
As a side note I have to say that the Left seems to always support racism when it suits their agenda, even racism against minorities. Just ask Rayla Campbell. So infuriating as this news out of Minneapolis may be, a surprise it is not.
