Cosmetic surgery in the UK grew in 2024, with 27,462 procedures performed, a 5% increase from the previous year. Most patients were women, making up 93.5% of all surgeries .
The most popular procedures for women were breast augmentation, breast reduction, tummy tucks, eyelid surgery, and liposuction. Eyelid surgery and liposuction are becoming especially popular. Men mostly chose rhinoplasty, eyelid surgery, male breast reduction , ear correction, and liposuction, although some procedures like rhinoplasty and liposuction have dropped slightly.
Overall, the data shows that men and women have different cosmetic goals, and trends in surgery are changing over time .
