I am, unfortunately, used to reading reality through everyone's eyes so as to be able to offer a critical and personal reading.
Reading the headlines of almost all the Italian news and newspapers, I had the distinct feeling that the G20 flop was passed off as a huge success.
The reason?
Always the same.
He was leading us.
Our leader maximo.
The man alone in charge.
The president of the council who could become president of the republic or why not, both!
Mario Draghi has led us towards who knows what.
He has won who knows what game.
He has filled us Italians with pride, but we don't know which pride.
The G20 in Rome did not record progress on any of the 2 central issues:
- Vaccines to poor countries.
- Fight against climate change.
Basically a cosmic nothingness on both fronts.
Draghi has tried, he must have put his face and heart into it, for goodness sake, no one wants to put it in doubt, but the result has been so painful to unleash the wrath of any activist you consult and any institution, organization that fights for those 2 macro issues.
Imagine what those same newspapers would have said if the same zero results would have brought home Giuseppe Conte or any other president not loved by the establishment!
The tones would have been totally reversed and the great success would have been announced as a resounding failure dictated by the inexperience and lack of leadership of the unfortunate president of the council of the day...

Sono, purtroppo, abituato a leggere la realtà con gli occhi di tutti in modo da poterne offrire una lettura critica e personale.
Leggendo i titoli di quasi tutti i notiziari e giornali italiani ho avuto la netta sensazione che il flop del G20 sia stato fatto passare come un enorme successo.
Il motivo?
Sempre il solito.
A guidarci c'era lui.
Il nostro leader maximo.
L'uomo solo al comando.
Il presidente del consiglio che potrebbe diventare presidente della repubblica o perchè no, entrambi!
Mario Draghi ci ha guidati verso non sa cosa.
Ha stravinto non si sa quale partita.
Ha riempito d'orgoglio noi italiani ma non si sa di quale orgoglio.
Il G20 romano non ha registrato passi avanti su nessuno dei 2 temi centrali:
Vaccini ai paesi poveri.
Lotta al cambiamento climatico.
Sostanzialmente un nulla di fatto cosmico su entrambi i fronti.
Draghi ci ha provato, ci avrà messo faccia e cuore, per carità, nessuno vuole metterlo in dubbio ma il risultato è stato talmente penoso da scatenare le ire di qualsiasi attivista voi consultiate e qualsiasi istituzione, organizzazione che per quei 2 macro temi si batte.
Immaginate quegli stessi giornali cosa avrebbero detto se gli stessi zero risultati li avrebbe portati a casa Giuseppe Conte o un qualsiasi altro presidente non amato dall'establishment?!
I toni sarebbero stati totalmente ribaltati ed il grande successo sarebbe stato annunciato come un clamoroso fallimento dettato dall'inesperienza e dalla mancanza di leadership del malcapitato presidente del consiglio di turno...
