🏜️ Rally Saudi Arabia: The Great Unknown
This is the big final of the 2025 season (Nov 26-29) around Jeddah. It's a huge shift from our familiar European roads. The terrain is the real killer: not just sand, but rough, abrasive rock, volcanic patches, and high-speed gravel. It’s a tyre-shredding nightmare like a mix of the old Safari Rally and Greece's Acropolis. Brains, not just speed, will win this title!

First Impression: Brutally dry. No forest echo, just the roar of the engines swallowed by the open space. Lots of sharp rocks waiting to bite the tyres.
The Action: Kalle Rovanperä was fastest—that little Finn always finds the rhythm. But Elfyn Evans looked a bit unsettled.
Verdict: This is the ultimate test of adaptation for the teams, especially with new Hankook tyres. It’s a complete lottery!
As an old fan, I miss the controlled madness of our local stages, but this is modern WRC. The action is starting soon, and even from my couch in Croatia, I wouldn't miss it. Rally is rally, whether it's near my home or in the middle of the desert!
