Hyundai's Adrien Fourmaux is only 2nd driver so far (after his team mate Thierry Neuville) who tested for Islas de Canarias Rally which is 2nd pure tarmac round of World Rally Championship.
Croatia Rally is next in line on the WRC calendar so practicing in Spain on tarmac should help drivers to understand better their cars, tires, setup etc., because it is the same surface.
Although Spain has much better tarmac then Croatia where grip can vary much. At least guys are testing (which means training in motorsport language). We have a video from Fourmaux's test.
