Ex-Production WRC champion and ex-works Mini WRC driver Armindo Araujo won his 2nd rally of the season and showed that Škoda Fabia R5 Evo is still unbeatable car in this category.
Portuguese Rally Championship has some very quick drivers and one of them is Bruno Magalhaes who won some big European rallies but with different brand from Hyundai which is his car at the moment.
I would say that Hyundai progressed with their R5 car but they can't beat Škoda unless there is some specialist driver like Huttunen who won in Sweden in February.
What is worth to say is that Araujo didn't lose his speed despite being away from some bigger competitions and driving only in Portugal.
This was 2nd rally in the row that he won against Magalhaes and he must continue that way because Magalhaes finished 2nd on both occasions.
One retirement from any of them and they are nowhere.
