Blast from the past - Gilles Panizzi with Peugeot 306 Maxi

Frenchman Gilles Panizzi used to be Peugeot's tarmac master in 2nd part of '90's and first part of 2000's. All his wins in the World Rally Championship were done with Peugeot brand.

But one car that he drove was special - it was Peugeot 306 Maxi with atmospheric engine which revved up to 10k revs, front wheel drive and sequential gearbox.

Panizzi was destroying opponents with his superb drives. He also drove for Mitsubishi in 2004 and 2005, and for Škoda in 2006 but his Peugeot days were the best part of hos career.
