Spaniard Jose Suarez posted a fastest time at the qualifying special stage of first round of European Rally Championship called Rally Sierra Morena 2026. This is his home event and he did it numerous of times, so experience helps for sure.

Current ERC champion Miko Marczyk was 2nd fastest while Czech driver Jakub Matulka was 3rd fastest. All three guys were behind a steering wheel of Škoda Rally2 machinery.

Tomorrow starts real action.
