Hey there Hivers! Mooon here, and I just wanted to share this thoughtful vibe before this year ended.
As part of my annual activity, I conduct a simple gift-giving event in our area every December. It was a simple community, and my target was the kids, and my mission was to give them bright smiles.
We're located in Antipolo, Rizal, which is a province part here in the Philippines, and as you know, this country is one of the poorest in Asia; as we are led by corrupt government officials, and I really hate it!
So let's just skip that part cause I'm here to spread positivity and good vibes, and focus on the things that can create a positive impact.
Before Christmas, I split a small amount of money from my savings to buy some toys and food for the children. It's not a huge amount, but I know it's enough to make them happy. My org SOHS also helped me out; they sent me some additional toys to share with the kids.
I bought an assortment of snacks, chocolates, candies, lollipops and put them into party bags.
I have a total of 60 random toys, so what I did was prepare 60 party bags full of snacks for them and share them equally.
I know it's not that much, but I'm so happy to share with them the simple gifts that I prepared.
Those innocent faces and smiles are so priceless; that's why I would never stop doing this, and when I'm able to do it more often, I would do so.
Giving back to others, especially to the unfortunate ones, is not that hard, so if we can give back, please do it! It doesn't matter how small or big it is; what matters most is the impact and the positivity that you may be able to pass on.
Be kind and make a difference.
