Lucky you, I've been collecting beverage cans and bottles for a few years as a side gig. Many homes around me don't bother to return their pop and beer containers at 10 cents each, one good year saw me refunded almost $1,000 CAD half was guilt free spending cash and the other half for what else but into my silver stacking. I estimate that about 31 troy oz. of my silver is funded by returning containers for the deposit.
