También espero que diciembre, esté siendo super chévere para todos, si les soy sincera, estos días se me han ido volando, me desperté, era primero, cerré los ojos los volví a abrir, y puff, 14 de diciembre!.

Hoy vengo con un maquillaje que uff, le traía ganas desde Halloween, pero octubre fue un mes complicado para mi, así que no tuve el chance de hacerlo, lo bueno, es que el maquillaje de cierto modo también puede entrar en el mood de navidad, ya que la película "The Nightmare Before Christmas" (que en español la traducen como "El extraño mundo de Jack"), ocurre en navidad. Si, los personajes viven en Halloween, pero la película se centra en como Jack (el protagonista, y amado de Sally) descubre la navidad.

Habia visto a muchaaas personas hacer este maquillaje, de distintas formas, y aunque tuve unos fallos técnicos (que les contare mas adelante), me gusto mucho mi version!

Materiales:

• Pintura para el cuerpo
• Sombras.
• Talco para bebes.

Procedimiento:

Empecé aplicando toda la base del color del cuerpo de sally, con bodypaint, utilice un color azul verdoso, no estoy segura si llegaba a turquesa, porque se seguía viendo muy azul. Eso lo selle con talco para bebes (por los momentos no tengo polvo translucido, así que resuelvo con eso).

pequeño paréntesis para aclarar que antes de todo tape mis cejas con pega en barra, pero se me olvido tomarme foto :(

Hice los contornos del rostro y nariz con sombra. Las cejas y los labios las pinte con pintura para el cuerpo roja. A los labios quise hacerles como este efecto "pop" con pintura blanca, pero creo que falle un poco. Despues con pintura blanca pinte la parte de abajo de los ojos, y para este maquillaje no use pestañas postizas, así que si, también las pinte jajaja

Pinte toda la base de lo que seria la ropa, y empecé haciendo las líneas negras de los detalles. Al principio trate con delineador, pero no me pinto muy bien, así que preferí hacerlo todo con pintura para el cuerpo.

Despues de agregar los últimos detalles, el maquillaje habia quedado terminado, solo faltaba pintarme el cabello de rojo (con pintura) y pintar todo lo que sobraba de mis hombros con negro y listo, ESTABA BELLO, PRECIOSO, yo lo amaba, pero ocurrió una tragedia, se me olvido sellar con el talco la parte de los detalles que simulaban la costura en el cuello, el pecho y los hombros , y se chorreo...

Entré en crisis.

traté de medio arreglarlo, pero ya era muy tarde y estaba muy cansada, solo queria terminar y de la ansiedad que me habia generado arruinarlo en el ultimo momento se me disparo un dolor de cabeza, así que traté de disimularlo, pero obvio no fue el resultado final que habia planeado.

De todas maneras, si nos ponemos a analizar demasiado el producto final, siempre encontraremos errores, sobre todo si es nuestro trabajo, creo que nosotros mismos somos nuestros mayores críticos.

Today I come with a makeup that uff, I wanted to do since Halloween, but October was a complicated month for me, so I didn't have the chance to do it, the good thing is that the makeup can also enter in the Christmas mood, because the movie "The Nightmare Before Christmas" (which in Spanish is translated as "El extraño mundo de Jack"), takes place in Christmas. Yes, the characters live in Halloween, but the film focuses on how Jack (the main character, and Sally's beloved) discovers Christmas.

I had seen a lot of people do this make-up, in different ways, and although I had some technical failures (which I will tell you later), I really liked my version!

Materials:

• Body paint
• Shadows.
• Baby powder.

Procedure:

I started by applying all the base colour of Sally's body, with bodypaint, I used a greenish blue colour, I'm not sure if it was turquoise, because it still looked very blue. I sealed it with baby powder (I don't have any translucent powder at the moment, so that's what I'm working with).

small parenthesis to clarify that before everything, I did my eyebrows with glue stick, but I forgot to take a picture of it :(

I did the contours of the face and nose with shadow. I painted the eyebrows and lips with red body paint. I wanted to make the lips like this "pop" effect with white paint, but I think I failed a bit. Then I painted the lower part of the eyes with white paint, and for this make-up I didn't use false eyelashes, so yes, I painted them too hahaha.

I painted the whole base of what would be the clothes, and started making the black lines of the details. At first I tried with eyeliner, but it didn't paint very well, so I preferred to do it all with body paint.

After adding the last details, the make-up was finished, I only had to paint my hair red (with paint) and paint all the rest of my shoulders with black and that was it, IT WAS BEAUTIFUL, PRECIOUS, I loved it, but a tragedy happened, I forgot to seal with the talcum powder the part of the details that simulated the seam on the neck, chest and shoulders, and it dripped....

I went into a crisis.

I tried to half fix it, but it was too late and I was too tired, I just wanted to finish and the anxiety I had generated by ruining it at the last moment gave me a headache, so I tried to disguise it, but obviously it wasn't the final result I had planned.

Anyway, if we analyse the final product too much, we will always find mistakes, especially if it's our work, I think we are our own biggest critics.
