Antes que nada, quisiera agradecer la cálida bienvenida que recibí el día de ayer al unirme a la comunidad.

Hacía ya bastante tiempo que tenía ganas de algun buen reto en cuanto a contenido de maquillaje.
He pensado varias veces en idear alguna iniciativa por mi cuenta y largarla a la comunidad, pero creo que la principal intención de hacerlo era la de interactuar con quién le gustase la idea y se animara a realizar su entrada, encantarme con las diferentes ideas y versiones y esas cosas.
Pero para ello, me gusta estar bien comprometido y la verdad que hoy estoy aquí pero mañana quizás me levante inspirado para pintar un cuadro y le dedique todo el día a ello. Y talvez al otro día me acuerde que tenía que hacer otra cosa y deje pausado el cuadro para dedicarle el día a eso nuevo. Y así todos los días.
Si. Debo trabajar la consistencia 🤣.
It's been a long time since I wanted a good challenge in terms of makeup content.I have thought several times about devising an initiative on my own and releasing it to the community, but I think that the main intention of doing it was to interact with whoever liked the idea and was encouraged to make their entry, enchanting me with the different ideas and versions and those things.
But for this, I like to be well committed and the truth is that today I am here but tomorrow I may wake up inspired to paint a painting and dedicate the whole day to it. And maybe the next day I'll remember that I had to do something else and pause the painting to dedicate the day to that new thing. And so every day.
Yes. I must work on consistency 🤣.
En fin. Por todo ello estoy muy inspirado para completar estos retos tan divertidos!
Esta semana es el turno de la inspiración en vikingos, y sin dudas, el maquillaje nórdico es uno de mis preferidos a la hora de personificar un diseño.
Lo que más me gusta de este tipo de maquillajes, es la simpleza. Puedes pintarte dos rallones negros en tus mejillas, algún símbolo fácil en la frente y ya eres todo un guerrero o guerrera vikingo. O puedes jugar a hacer algo más elaborado y que se vea simple, o más caracterizado, con más símbolos, con más o menos patrones de líneas, y se seguirá viendo creativamente fabuloso!
Anyway. For all this I am very inspired to complete these fun challenges!This week it's the turn of inspiration in Vikings, and without a doubt, Nordic makeup is one of my favorites when it comes to personifying a design.
What I like most about this type of makeup is the simplicity. You can paint two black scratches on your cheeks, some easy symbol on your forehead and you are already a true Viking warrior. Or you can play at making something more elaborate and simple looking, or more characterful, with more symbols, with more or less line patterns, and it will still look creatively fabulous!
Para esta entrada, decidí realizar un maquillaje caracterizado. Con un rostro rígido, estructurado y una mirada resaltada por la oscuridad.
En pocas palabras, intenté lucir imponente 😅.
Bien. Para iniciar este protecto, comencé haciendo mis cejas más voluminosas y peludas. Logré ello peinandolas hacia arriba con la ayuda de un cepillo y jabón blanco. Una vez secas, dibuje más pelos con un pincel súper fino y pigmento acuarelable negro. También las oscurecí más con sombra de color negro.
Para estructurar mi rostro y darle una apariencia rígida, utilicé una paleta de sombras con un tono beige, un tono marrón medio y un tono negro.
Apliqué las sobras en todos los contornos de mi rostro. En mis cienes, en la nariz, debajo de mis pómulos, contorneado la mandíbula y también en las cuencas de mis ojos, enfatizando en los ángulos por debajo de las cejas para simular una mirada más penetrante y misteriosa.
Apliqué el tono baige cómo transición, luego esfuminé el tono marrón medio para crear las sombras y luego aplique el tono negro para las facciones más pronunciadas.
También oscurecí toda la zona de mi barba con el mismo tono de sombra negro.
For this entry, I decided to make a characterized makeup. With a rigid, structured face and a look highlighted by darkness.In short, I tried to look imposing 😅.
Good. To start this protecto, I started by making my eyebrows more voluminous and hairy. I achieved this by combing them upwards with the help of a brush and white soap. Once dry, draw more hairs with a super fine brush and black watercolor pigment. I also darkened them more with black eyeshadow.
To structure my face and give it a stark look, I used an eyeshadow palette with a beige shade, a medium brown shade, and a black shade.
I applied the leftovers to all the contours of my face. In my hundreds, in the nose, under my cheekbones, contouring the jaw and also in the sockets of my eyes, emphasizing the angles below the eyebrows to simulate a more penetrating and mysterious look.
I applied the baige tone as a transition, then I blended the medium brown tone to create the shadows and then I applied the black tone for the most pronounced features.I also darkened my entire beard area with the same shade of black eyeshadow.
Para mis ojos, comencé esfuminando sombra de tono rojizo sobre las esquinas exteriores de mis párpados superiores y y también en todo el párpado inferior de ambos ojos.
Luego apliqué pigmento acuarelable negro en las esquinas exteriores de mis parpados y también en los lagrimales, esfuminando todo hacia el centro de cada párpado.
Quise darle más detalles salpicando un poco de maquillaje blanco diluido con agua.
(Este proceso lo suelo hacer con un cepillo de dientes gastado que tengo, pero no lo encontré por ningún lado asique intenté con esa brocha para el cabello 🤣)
Ya finalizando, ahora sí, el maquillaje guerrero característico.
Volví a utilizar el mismo pigmento acuarelable negro porque es el más oscuro que tengo y le viene de maravilla a esta ocasión.
Utilicé una brocha gruesa para las franjas que atraviesan mi ojo derecho y un pincel fino para dibujar, con un tono rústico, los símbolos en mi lado izquierdo del rostro.
Y así quedó el resultado final..
For my eyes, I started by smudging a reddish-toned shadow on the outer corners of my upper lids and also all over the lower lid of both eyes.I then applied black watercolor pigment to the outer corners of my lids and also to the inner corners of my eyelids, blending everything towards the center of each lid.
I wanted to give it more details by splashing a little white makeup diluted with water.
(I usually do this process with a worn out toothbrush that I have, but I couldn't find it anywhere so I tried that hairbrush 🤣)
Finishing, now, the characteristic warrior makeup.
I used the same black watercolor pigment again because it's the darkest I have and it's perfect for this occasion.
I used a thick brush for the stripes across my right eye and a fine brush to draw, in a rustic tone, the symbols on my left side of the face.
And so was the final result.
