Greetings my lovely friends, I welcome you all to my blog and am so glad to be in this amazing community, is an honour. Am happy to participate in this weekly contest, its such an interesting topic.
There are friends that stick thicker than blood. Good friends are rare to find but when you found one cherish it. The choose of friends we keep builds or destroyed us. So when choosing friends, we should choose wisely.
During my days in the university i had this lovely friend her name is Oluchi. We first met the day we came to write our post utme in the university. So we met and talk casually while waiting for the examination to commence. At the exam hall, she was sitting next to me and after the exam we pray to get admitted to the university and hope to reunite again.
I got admission to the university, so one of the days I went for lecture for a general course, I saw her, we were so happy to see each other and it happens that we are in the same faculty but different departments. After that day we became close friends and then we got an apartment in a lodge and that's how we became roommate.
Our friendship grew stronger, that people taught we are siblings because we almost do everything together, anywhere you see me, you will see her, the only time we won't be together is when we both have our departmental lectures. We study together, go for night class together and she is also my gossip mate, no time spent with her was a dull moment. Sometimes we quarrel and argue but that doesn't stop us from settling our dispute and love each other unconditionally. Her family lives in port Harcourt sometimes during the weekend we will both go to their family house to spend the weekend, her family took me as their daughter.
Yes Oluchi is that one friend as bestie my school gave me, she got married during one the asuu strike that was almost our 4th year in the school. I was her maid of honour. When she was pregnant, i was there for her during the journey, both in school. The days she is week to go for lectures or practicals i will help her out. I was there for her after even birth, infact we are always there for each in thick and thin. We share and celebrate our special moments together.
Having Oluchi as a friend made me to believe that true friends still exist and are real. Now we are in our different homes far from each other, we still talk and gist till date, so distance has not been a barrier from communicating and seeing each other.
Thanks for stopping by blog. Loads of love 🥰💕❤️
