Hello everyone your welcome to my blog today its your favorite girl
Academics in a university setting can be really stressful and comes so much pressure to meet up with expectations from parents and personal pressure. There are a lot of activities that go on in the university walls and it varies from lectures to practical to exams and extra curricular activities. And with all the pressure that comes with this and financial problems grow among students as there are so many text books to buy and practical to pay for and so many other small bills all around and then students who depends only on their parents can barely survive , under the pressure to survive we students joggle a lot of things to stay afloat and survive in school.
This brings us to the prompt for this week which is ( SIDE HUSTLES OR PART TIME JOBS I HAVE TRIED) it is not easy to balance out academics and other side hustles. While I’m no longer in school but there were a few commitments I had to make while in school. While in school I was into hair styling and baking I used this skills to aid myself financially in school and it was not easy balancing it all together. In my final year I enrolled for training in perfume making and even started selling them. There are plenty oh I learnt tailoring for 1 week and started making my school departmental skirt it was just a straight cut skit and I will sell for 3500, the stress was too much but I survived.
And all I full time commitment I made when in school was to start baking cup cakes , and I sell them in the hostel and also in school during lectures , it was very stressful but it paid some bills you can imagine a very busy week indeed , some times I’m too tired to read or even take care of myself. I do my reading by 3am in the morning and do my laundry on saturated night so I can meet up with my schedule during the week. And the cycle goes on but at the end I’m glad I made it through and came out strong , but adequate planning can help you achieve all and stand strong.
Thank you for stopping by my blog today.
