Good evening everybody you're welcome to my blog today.
A skill that changed in my life, growing up I used to watch my mom on her sewing machine and also watch her make hair, most times she makes my own hair I always told myself that I would learn how to sew and I would learn how to make hair from. Be she always had this habit of making her hair by herself.
So most times when my mom took me to a hair salon to make her professionally if she couldn't recreate it I would watch them carefully and know what they do to my hair and then I would come back and practice it with the attachment in between my toes I will try twisting and so many others.
This brings me to this week's prompt ( A SKILL OR TALENT THAT CHANGED ME) Growing up into a teenager and advancing into adolescent age I was able to start making my hair a little bit ,just by weaving my hair even though i found hard to part my hair well and so many others, but as time went by I was able to recreate a lot of beautiful styles on my hair . I found out that always make my hair myself made me get more perfect after doing it.
I can literally make my hair and part them well and everything will be neat without looking at a mirror ,because I have practiced it for a long time and it has become part of me. About sewing I always had this passion for sewing and it wasn't my mom who taught me during the covid-19 break and a long strike followed then after the covid-19 week I used that period to enroll for a sewing class or I was only able to attend it for one week guess what in that one weekends for babies for myself.
I don't really a have lot of pictures here to explain what I'm saying but I actually surprised to myself because it was my passion . And back then I used to match my mom's machine ,sometime the needle will come so close to penetrating my finger, but to God be the glory it never did not even when I was learning it how to sew.
So this is a habit that I've changed my life in so many ways I have saved me money a lot and also I built a good customer base for my hair brand and my am still working on my clothing brand after doing refresh class. Am grateful for this habit that has helped me so far.
