Good day everyone, welcome to my blog.
In the process of navigating our life from cradle till we grow up we will always meet and have encounters with different people. Some of them may come around with good vibes or help us out of some mess or be the reason why we would find ourselves in a big mess at the end of the day.
Either good or bad, life has taught me that people we meet in life leave us with one. During my years as an undergraduate I met quite a lot of people from lectures to course mates and those who were just school mate with me.
I can mention a number of lectures that wanted something out of ordinary with the naive me but that talk is not for today. I rather choose to celebrate my humble handsome departmental lecturer whose name is Mr Dayo Akannu. He was a Mr when I graduated and now he is a Professor.
My image.
Professor Dayo Akannu(brooda) as he was fondly called helped to land my first major appointment after graduation. Though I had some schools I was already teaching, he called me to teach in the school where his children were attending then. I feared that I might have to drop my other schools because this new one is a big one and may not want to employ me on part time basis.
Brooda said go to the properties first if she can not employ you as part time staff tell her you can not sit in her school all day because you have other lives to touch and walk away. That word stays with me from then till now. When I got to the school the woman was ready to do what I wanted.
Since then till now I teach as a part time teacher in schools and this has given me the opportunity to meet a lot of beautiful pupils and students and to work with different administrators and adapt to different situations without having to step on toes. Being a part time teacher comes with it's difficulties but I can tell you for free that it is stress free compared to full time teaching
and
come tell us about that unforgettable person from your past.
