Good day everyone, welcome to my blog.
Thankyou for this beautiful prompt. This prompt reminds me of two things I would share before talking about my Christmas wish. This prompt is making me imagine myself as a magician with a magic wand or Father Christmas granting people's wishes like we were made to understand as a child.
Secondly, this prompt reminds me of a story we were told as a child. In the story, a man was so poor that his level of poverty was at the level of a church rat, even though he had a wife and two children whom he was supposed to provide for and an aged mother he was supposed to support which he was unable to because life has been unbearable for him.
One day, when he was busy clearing grass on a field he was hired to work on, he offered his only slice of bread and water to an old traveler who came to meet him for assistance. To return the favor, the old traveler told him to make only one wish. This poor man was careful in his decision so he used one stone to kill three birds by making a wish that is beneficial to him and his above mentioned dependants
He said I wish to see my mother, wife and children healthy, eating on a beautiful table bought by me with golden spoons bought by my wife and his wish was granted. It's a wealthy man that would buy a beautiful dining table and a wealthy woman that would buy a beautiful golden spoon so wisdom is profitable to direct.
On that note, the one only Christmas wish I have is for the spirit of Christmas to give my household good and clear guidelines, be our guiding angel and push us to make good, positive and profitable decisions when we might be at a crossroads.
. come and share your Christmas wish with us.
