Hello everyone
Just like they say, school is sweet but the exam ruined it. There are several reasons why people go to school especially in a contemporary world,some reasons include : Academic & Knowledge Reasons, career and financial reasons, Social & Personal Development Reasons, recognition and achievements reason, long term life goals and so on. For me personally, I went to school to gain more knowledge in various aspects combined, this includes for academic purposes, to gain knowledge in both practical and theoretical ways.
Ever since my academic career started right for my primary School true to my university education, I can say that I have experienced both small and big academic wins throughout my stay in these four walls of Educational institutions. My academic wins ranges because some are considered small and personal while others are considered huge. In my primary School, I can proudly say that I experienced huge academic wins because back then I was very versatile especially when it comes to debate and quizzes. I represented my school in different competitions that brought us success and awards in such categories. Also, because I was versatile, hardworking, intelligent, punctual and neat, I was made the head in my primary school.
Fast forward to my university days, one of my biggest wins has to do with a challenging course offered for our final year. As a graduate of English studies, there was a course known as syntax. This course was dreaded by students because it was complicated and required hard work and logical systems to work. On the surface, people think English studies feel like a simple course but it requires a lot of rules and regulaprefecttions to be able to apply it on our everyday use. Hence, my biggest win is navigating through this difficult course back then and passing it with flying colors.
In conclusion, academic wins are meant to be celebrated no matter how small or big they are because celebration is a kind of a Mauritian that allows people to want to do more for their present situations and even for the future. I am proud of myself as an individual for my academic career over the years even though they were struggling in several areas both mentally and financially, we were able to scale through.
