Hello my favourites.. how are you all doing today? Trust you've been good.. it's another week of the hive student weekly contest and am glad to partake in it. Below here gat my opinions about the campus life experience. just read on;
We ought to understand the fact that campus life is sometimes hyped and overrated. The more reason why i say this is that in school, expectations meets reality. what does this mean? Before i gained admission into school, i had already pictured out my life on how i will live on campus. Then, i said to my self that it's gonna be a free world in the sense that no one will disturb or worry me any longer. But now that I've finally entered school, i began to realize that school life isn't all about making new friends, partying, clubbing, etc, but its a place where we are ought to spend more of our time in lectures, assignments, and exams.
Aside the fact that school comes with alot of distractions from parties, clubs, and friends, it also comes with pressure and stress: Campus life can be overwhelming, especially in terms of financial pressure, academic stress, social anxiety. Not everyone thrives in that environment. I also understood the fact not all friendships last. Some come into your life to either deceive, distract or fizzle you. When I haven't gotten admission, I told the university life was a bed of roses. but as the academic journey moves on, I have begin to realize that it's a place of limited exposure. whenever am back from lectures, I head straight to my lodge because I really love my space.
Campus can introduce you to peers, mentors, and clubs that shape your career and personal life. as a student, you should know this.. "The campus life can either make you or mare you.." it actually depends on the decisions you make. The truth is that Campus life is both overrated and underrated, depending on what you expect and what you make of it. If you go in thinking it’s a nonstop party, you’ll be disappointed. If you go in curious, willing to learn, and open to experiences, it can be one of the most formative times of your life.
Thank you all for reading.. I hope this post inspires all current students, ex- students, and aspirants. I humbly invite my friends
to partake in this contest.
