Greetings!
One thing is that in this life we will always strive hard to attain excellence. So, the issue of workload is not just an ordinary thing but part of learning.
Having said this, I would like to delve into the topic of the prompt which is all about, “Education and workload.”
Education and workload are like siamese twins which can never be separated. Apart from us learning from the various departments and going through various courses in the higher institutions of learning, the workload is something that has become part of our learning process.
My first experience of workload didn't just start at the university level, but at the secondary level when I was in the junior class, then, our subject teachers most especially the Mathematics and English teacher would not allow us to rest as they would daily load us with classwork and assignments which would not allow us to rest nor do our house chores at home at the weekend.
Similarly, when I got to the higher institution of learning, the situation got worse and the stress was too much as we always moved from one lecture hall to the other.
Aside from this, there's also a lot of commitment on my part, when I was in the second year in the university, I was assigned by the departmental exco to take the students in the first year through the courses that are offered in the department.
So, this coupled with my own personal life and academic life, was not something easy for me. The workload was too much for me and it was not easy for me to cope with.
However, with the help of God, I was able to scale through, but it wasn't easy as I have said earlier.
In conclusion, workload is real and it's become part of learning, the only thing is that we all must adjust to it.
Thanks for reading.
