Greetings!
The school is a place where we all believe learning used to take place, but even at that, not everything we need to know about life can be taught within the four walls of the classroom.
Having said this, I would like to delve into the topic of the prompt before me today and the topic of this prompt is all about, “Things school didn't teach, but life did.”
Like I said earlier, the school is a place where we learn about so many things, such as our career path and the likes.
Although the school has really contributed to the success of many of us as we have been doing well in our various fields, even at that, there's things the school didn't teach us, but after we had left for the outside world we now know much about.
So, in thia my write up, I would like to tell you what school didn't teach me, but life did and that thing that the school didn't teach me but life did is what I would call the, “reality of life.”
One thing I was not taught in school is the reality of life. When I was in school, I was made aware of the rudiments of my course of study. Then, my lecturers also told me that I was studying the best of all the courses in the university and that after my graduation, I would be a hot cake in the labour market.
However, the reality dawned on me when after my graduation from the university, I was just roaming about without anything to show for the course I studied and my four years in the university.
Also, reality dawned on me when hunger began to beat me and it's after all these things that I realized that the university really tried for me in my career path, but failed to let me know the truth about the reality of life.
Thanks for reading.
