My 2026 Hive Vision: Chasing Friendships Over Folowers (And The Story Behind My Username)
Hey Hive community!
Honestly, I been sitting in front of my mobile screen for what feels like forever trying to figure out how to start this. You know that feeling when you have a million things to say but your thumbs just freeze up? Yeah, that was me. I was in a total fix about what my very first post should even be about. Should I talk about my life? Crypto? The state of the world?
After lurking in the comments for a while, I decided to just be real. Instead of a boring and stiff intro post, I want to talk about who I am and where I want to be by the end of 2026 on this blochain.
The Story Behind 
Before I get into my goals, alot of people might wonder what my username even means. I actually put some real thought into it. It represents the two totally different sides of my life.
The first part, axios, comes from my coding background. For those who don't know, axios is a very popular library we use a lot in Node.js code to fetch data and make requests. I used to mess around with coding and I still love the logic behind it. The second part, saman, is literally the regional word for "things", "stuff", or "goods". So if you put it together, my username basically means "fetching goods" or "requesting stuff." Which brings me perfectly to what I actually do in the real world.
My Real World Hustle
When I'm not staring at this screen or reading through Hive posts, I am actually running my own small business. I deal in imported second-hand garments, and let me tell you, it's a real physical hustle sorting through heavy bales and making sure my customers get the best quality for thier money. It is a tough business with crazy hours, but it has taught me so much about value, patience, and dealing with all kinds of people daily. I want to bring that same work ethic to my Hive journey.
Quality is the main thing in my shop.
Why I Was in a Fix
To be honest, I was scared to post. I kept thinking, "What if nobody reads this?" or "What if the curators think I'm just here for the rewards?" That pressure is real! It make me overthink everything. I almost didn't post today because I thought my writing wasn't proffessional enough. But then I realized that Hive isn't just a bank or a resume center, its a social network.

I spent so much time reading other people's stuff and I realized that the accounts that actually thrive are the ones that connect. They aren't just posting into the void.
My Big Goal: Quality Over Quantity
If you look at most goal posts, people are talking about hitting massive HP numbers or becoming a whale. I want that too eventually, but my main goal for the rest of 2026 is way more personal. I want to make at lrast 10 genuine friends on this platform.
In the real world, finding true friends is hard enough. On a decentralised platform, I think it is even more important. So, how am I actually going to do this?
- Be a Coment Ninja: I’m going to keep showing up in the comment sections. You can learn more about a person in the comments than in a 1000-word essay.
- Support the Neebies: We can grow together. There's something cool about supporting someone before they get big.
- Consistance: Life gets busy, especially at the shop, but I wanr to make sure I check-in a few times a week.
- Transparency: I want to share my wins and my fails without hiding.

Final Thoughts
I know the system can be tough sometimes. I was reading a post recently about the vicious cycle of the educational system and corruption in the world, and it is honestly worse then we like to admit. If the real world is going to be messy, our online homes should of been better built.
So, here is to 2026. I might not have a million HIVE in my wallet by December, but if I have 10 people I can call real friends, I’ll defiantly consider this a massive success.
