Body skin care is as important as facial skin care and that is why we must also follow the same basic steps for skin care, that is, cleanse, moisturise and protect. For many years I was a fan of the golden Lubriderm body cream, however, some time ago they changed their formula and although the new one is not bad, I decided to try other options that I liked better. That's how I ended up buying a Nivea brand cream and another Lubriderm, but now the blue one.

I've been using each one for about two months, so I'm more or less clear on which one is my favourite, although I thought they were both pretty good. Both products are similarly priced, the Nivea is perhaps a little cheaper, but that's because I bought it on sale (a recurring feature of the brand). I'm satisfied with the results of both, although honestly, neither of them can beat the previous Lubriderm Golden formula.
Lubriderm Normal Skin
It has a medium consistency, i.e. it is not as runny, but not as thick either. It has a pleasant and very discreet scent. During the time I was using it I noticed an adequate hydration of the body skin, maybe not as much as the golden version, but it is quite similar. For hands and feet, it is very good, and I didn't notice any dryness while using it. Perhaps the only downside I can find is that it takes quite a long time to absorb, so if you don't like the feeling of having cream on, you might not like this option very much, but I don't mind that, so I don't think it's such a bad thing.
When I ran it through the application that analyses creams and skin products, I was surprised to find that it has a lot of allergens. This was something that surprised me, as my son and I have quite sensitive skin (he has atopic dermatitis) and despite that we haven't had any unfavourable reactions using it. Maybe it's just a coincidence that we haven't had any bad reactions, so if you suffer from a lot of allergies, you probably won't be able to use it.

Nivea Regeneration Intensive
This product has a much more " fluid " consistency than Lubriderm, not quite to the point of being a lotion, but it is much more liquid than most body creams I've tried. It has a rather pungent scent which I found a little unpleasant, however, I got used to it with use and nowadays, I hardly find it annoying. Its level of hydration is adequate, although somewhat deficient in feet and hands, which has meant that I have to apply it more than once a day on those parts. As it has a more liquid consistency, it absorbs very easily and leaves the skin feeling soft without feeling like it has cream on it for a long time.
Honestly, before going through the product testing application, I thought it was going to be very high in bad things and allergens, however, I was surprised to find that it is much better in that aspect than Lubriderm. Although it also has common allergens, these are almost at the end of the list of ingredients, so it contains them in much smaller quantities, plus they are less than those contained in the Lubriderm cream, it was a pleasant surprise to find such a result.
As you can see, each one has its pros and cons, so I have decided to keep both, but for different functions. I will use the Nivea for the whole body because of how quickly it absorbs (I don't mind the feeling, but sometimes I don't have so much time to wait for it to absorb), while the Lubriderm will be used only for hands and feet, as I really like the result it leaves on them.

Cremas Corporales a Prueba
El cuidado de la piel corporal es tan importante como el cuidado de la facial y es por ello debemos seguir también los mismos pasos básicos para su cuidado, es decir, limpiar, hidratar y proteger. Durante muchos años fui partidaria de la crema corporal Lubriderm dorada, sin embargo, desde hace algún tiempo cambiaron su fórmula y aunque la nueva no es mala, decidí probar otras opciones que me agradaran más. Fue así como terminé comprando una crema de la Marca Nivea y otra Lubriderm, pero ahora la azul.
Cada una la he usado durante aproximadamente dos meses, así que ya tengo más o menos claro el panorama sobre cuál es mi favorita, aunque la verdad las dos me parecieron bastante buenas. Ambos productos tienen un precio similar, la Nivea quizás es un poco más económica, sin embargo, eso es porque la compré en oferta (algo recurrente en la marca). Estoy satisfecha con el resultado de ambas, aunque honestamente, ninguna de las dos llega a superar a la fórmula anterior de la Lubriderm Dorada.
Lubriderm Piel Normal
Tiene una consistencia media, es decir, no es tan líquida, pero tampoco tan espesa. Cuenta con un perfume agradable y muy discreto. Durante el tiempo que estuve utilizándola noté una hidratación adecuada de la piel del cuerpo, quizás no tanto como la versión dorada, pero es bastante parecida. Para manos y pies es muy buena, y no noté ningún tipo de resequedad mientras la empleaba. Quizás el único contra que puedo encontrarle es que tarda bastante en absorberse, así que si no les gusta la sensación de tener crema puesta, quizás no les agrade mucho esta opción, a mí esto me da igual, así que no me parece algo tan malo.
Al pasarla por la aplicación que analiza cremas y productos para la piel, me llevé la sorpresa de que tiene una gran cantidad de alérgenos. Esto fue algo que me sorprendió, ya que mi hijo y yo tenemos la piel bastante sensible (él tiene dermatitis atópica) y a pesar de eso no hemos tenido ninguna reacción desfavorable usándola. Quizás sea casualidad el que no nos haya caído mal, así que si sufren de muchas alergias posiblemente no puedan llegar a utilizarla.

Nivea Regeneración Intensiva
Este producto tiene una consistencia mucho más “aguada” que la Lubriderm, no llega al punto de ser una loción, pero sí es mucho más líquida que la mayoría de las cremas corporales que he probado. Cuenta con un perfume bastante penetrante y que me resultó algo desagradable, sin embargo, con los usos me fui acostumbrando a él y actualmente casi no lo encuentro molesto. Su nivel de hidratación es adecuado, aunque algo deficiente en pies y manos, lo que ha hecho que deba aplicarla más de una vez al día en esas partes. Al tener una consistencia más líquida se absorbe con mucha facilidad y deja la piel suave sin pasar mucho tiempo con la sensación de tener crema en la piel.
Honestamente, antes de pasar sus ingredientes por la aplicación que analiza los productos, pensaba que iba a salir altísima en cosas malas y alérgenos, sin embargo, me llevé la sorpresa de que es mucho mejor en ese aspecto que la Lubriderm. A pesar de que también cuenta con alérgenos comunes, estos vienen casi al final de la lista de ingredientes, así que los contiene en mucha menor cantidad, además de que son menos de los que contiene la crema Lubriderm, fue una sorpresa grata encontrarme dicho resultado.
Como ven cada una tiene sus pro y sus contras, así que he decidido quedarme con las dos, pero para diferentes funciones. La Nivea la utilizaré para todo el cuerpo debido a lo rápido que se absorbe (no me molesta la sensación, pero a veces no tengo tanto tiempo para esperar a que se absorba), mientras que la Lubriderm quedará solamente para manos y pies, ya que me gusta mucho el resultado que deja en estas.
