It seems that my search for the perfect cleanser will never come to an end, because just when I thought I had finally found it, the shop that sold it stopped selling it and I had to start all over again. On a previous occasion I shared with you the option that I found on one of my visits to the cosmetics area of the supermarket, however, my experience with that product was not totally satisfactory, so I had to look for another cleanser with which I could alternate it, that's how I discovered this new cleanser from the brand Simple.

The name of this product is "Moisturising Facial Wash " and its slogan promises soft and healthy looking skin. Like all Simple products, it is free from harmful chemicals, colourants and perfumes. It is also vegan (no animal ingredients) and has not been tested on animals. My favourite thing about this cleanser is that it's not a soap, it's a Syndet cleanser that's perfect for all skin types, especially sensitive skin.
The first time I used it, my impression was quite positive, as its consistency is quite similar to the gel cleanser that I had liked and that I have not been able to find again. As it doesn't have soap it doesn't lather too much, however, it does lather enough so that we can cleanse the whole face and neck with a small amount (the size of a pea), I loved this because it means it will last a long time and that's a saving that never hurts.

While it doesn't leave the same fresh feeling that the gel left me with, it does leave my skin feeling quite clean, soft and without leaving a tight feeling, which is quite important to me because the cleansers that leave it feeling tight are usually because they are too aggressive. That causes my facial skin to generate an excessive amount of oil as it tries to replenish everything the cleanser took away. It seems strange, but if we want to control the oiliness of our skin, over-cleansing is totally counterproductive, as the skin tends to want to compensate and regularly over-compensates because it feels under attack.
After using it for about a month or so, I am somewhat pleased with the results. It has helped me control oil, which is quite good, as it is one of the main problems I have with my skin type. However, I have noticed that it doesn't control acne breakouts as well as the gel cleanser, although this may be because I'm alternating it with a "scrub " type cleanser that I bought previously and refuse to throw away when it's full.
The effect I've liked the most is that it's moisturising and leaves the skin extremely soft to the touch, without increasing oil production. Another point in its favour is that when I started using it I was starting to get a dermatitis outbreak, but after a week of applying this cleanser the itching sensation and redness disappeared completely. So all in all I can say that it was a good buy and although it's not my favourite, I've really liked the results I've had with it and as long as the other cleanser keeps disappearing, this will definitely be the one to replace it (unless it disappears too, hahahaha).

Perhaps the only point that could work against it is that it has a somewhat unpleasant smell, although this is because it does not have any type of perfume to reduce the risk of irritation or allergic reactions, so it is not a point that can be considered totally negative. On the other hand, I would like to point out that its ingredients include Vitamin B5, which serves to soften and moisturise the skin, and also vitamin E, which is a well-known antioxidant that helps prevent premature skin ageing. It is also water-based, which makes it excellent for combination and oily skin.
Finally, I want to add that despite being a product with so many positive things, it has a really affordable price, 8.73 USD for 150 ml of product. Which is fantastic, as there are cleansers with similar characteristics, with much higher prices and with much less quantity. So it's definitely a product that I recommend if you are looking for a very good and affordable facial cleanser.
El reemplazo perfecto para mi limpiador facial favorito
Al parecer mi búsqueda del limpiador perfecto jamás llegará a su fin, ya que cuando pensé que finalmente lo había encontrado, la tienda que lo comercializaba dejó de venderlo y tuve que comenzar nuevamente. En una ocasión anterior les compartí la opción que encontré en una de mis visitas al área de cosmética del supermercado, sin embargo, mi experiencia con ese producto no fue totalmente satisfactoria, por lo que tuve que buscar otro limpiador con el que pudiera alternarlo, así fue como descubrí este nuevo limpiador de la marca Simple.
El nombre de este producto es "Moisturising Facial Wash" (limpiador facial hidratante) y en su eslogan promete una piel suave y de aspecto sano. Como todos los productos de la marca Simple no tiene químicos dañinos, tampoco colorantes ni perfumes. Además, es vegano (no tiene ingredientes de origen animal) y no ha sido probado en animales. El punto que más me gusta de este limpiador es que no es un jabón, es decir, es un limpiador Syndet perfecto para todo tipo de pieles, en especial para las pieles sensibles.
La primera vez que lo usé mi impresión fue bastante positiva, ya que su consistencia es bastante similar al gel limpiador que me había gustado y que no he podido volver a encontrar. Al no poseer jabón no hace demasiada espuma, sin embargo, sí hace la suficiente como para que podamos limpiar toda la cara y el cuello con una pequeña cantidad (del tamaño de un chícharo), esto me encantó porque significa que durará mucho y eso representan un ahorro que jamás está de más.

Si bien no deja la misma sensación de frescura que me dejaba el gel, sí deja la piel bastante limpia, suave y sin dejar una sensación de tirantez, lo cual es bastante importante para mí porque los limpiadores que la dejan es normalmente porque son demasiado agresivos. Eso hace que la piel de mi rostro genere una cantidad excesiva de grasa al intentar reponer todo lo que el limpiador se llevó. Parece extraño, pero si queremos controlar la grasa de nuestra piel, una limpieza excesiva es totalmente contraproducente, ya que la piel tiende a querer compensar y regularmente lo hace en exceso porque se siente atacada.
Después de haberlo usado durante un mes aproximadamente, estoy algo complacida con los resultados. Me ha ayudado a controlar la grasa, lo cual es bastante bueno, puesto que es uno de los principales problemas que tengo con mi tipo de piel. Sin embargo, he notado que no controla tan bien los brotes de acné como el limpiador en gel, aunque esto puede deberse que lo estoy alternando con un limpiador tipo "scrub" que compré anteriormente y que me rehúso a tirar a la basura estando lleno.
El efecto que más me ha gustado es que al ser hidratante deja la piel sumamente suave al tacto, sin aumentar la producción de grasa. Otro punto a su favor es que cuando comencé a utilizarlo estaba comenzando a aparecer un brote de dermatitis, pero después de una semana de aplicar este limpiador la sensación de comezón y el enrojecimiento desaparecieron por completo. Así que en general puedo decir que fue una buena compra y aunque no es mi favorito, sí me han gustado bastante los resultados que he obtenido con él y mientras siga desaparecido el otro limpiador, sin duda este será el elegido para sustituirlo (a menos que también desaparezca, jajajaja).

Quizás el único punto que quizás pueda jugar en su contra es que tiene un olor algo desagradable, aunque esto es porque no cuenta con ningún tipo de perfume para disminuir el riesgo de sufrir irritaciones o reacciones alérgicas, así que no es un punto que pueda considerarse totalmente negativo. Por otra parte, me gustaría destacar que dentro de sus ingredientes cuenta con Vitamina B5, la cual sirve para suavizar e hidratar la piel y también con Vitamina E, la cual es un conocido antioxidante que ayuda a prevenir el envejecimiento prematuro de la piel. Además, es a base de agua, lo cual lo hace excelente para pieles mixtas y grasas.
Para finalizar, quiero agregar que a pesar de ser un producto con tantas cosas positivas, tiene un precio realmente accesible, 8.73 USD por 150 ml de producto. Lo cual es fantástico, ya que hay limpiadores con características similares, con precios mucho más elevados y con mucha menor cantidad. Así que definitivamente es un producto que recomiendo si están buscando un limpiador facial muy bueno y económico.
