El día de hoy les traigo una nueva reseña de un producto facial que he estado usando y que me ha gustado bastante. Y aunque se trate de un producto bastante sencillo, lo he encontrado muy útil y único. Se trata de una mascarilla nocturna que tiene muchas utilidades y que estoy emocionado por compartir mi opinión al respecto y que ustedes, al final del post, decidan si se aventuran a usarla o no.

Today I bring you a new review of a facial product that I have been using and have been quite pleased with. And although it is a fairly simple product, I have found it to be very useful and unique. It is a night mask that has many utilities and I am excited to share my opinion about it and that you, at the end of the post, decide if you venture to use it or not.
Hablando un poco del producto, se llama “Cucumber Sleeping Mask” de Kiss Beauty. Viene en una presentación muy linda y pequeña, por lo que es recomendable comprarla en una gran cantidad para que puedas usarlas varias veces y notar las mejoras por su uso. Entre sus principales características, vemos que se trata de una mascarilla cuyo uso es exclusivo para la noche, en especial para luego de hacer tu rutina de skincare y estás listo para ir a la cama. Esta mascarilla es usada a menudo para hidratar la piel, nutriéndola y dándole al rostro una sensación de suavidad y mejorando la resequedad en la misma.
Su presentación individual es bastante pequeña, por eso el precio es de 2$ por el combo de tres mascarillas, y en mi caso pude usar las tres mascarillas en seis oportunidades, ya que una puede rendir para dos usos. Pero, antes de usarla, debemos hacer nuestra rutina de limpieza, así que primero nos tomamos un delicioso y caliente té antes de irnos a hacerle cariñito a nuestro rostro.🍵
Talking a bit about the product, it is called "Cucumber Sleeping Mask" by Kiss Beauty. It comes in a very nice and small presentation, so it is advisable to buy it in a large quantity so you can use it several times and notice the improvements from its use. Among its main features, we see that it is a mask whose use is exclusively for the night, especially for after doing your skincare routine and you are ready to go to bed. This mask is often used to moisturize the skin, nourishing it and giving the face a feeling of softness and improving dryness.
Its individual presentation is quite small, that's why the price is $2 for the combo of three masks, and in my case I was able to use the three masks in six opportunities, since one can yield for two uses. But, before using it, we must do our cleansing routine, so first we had a delicious, hot tea before we went to do a little face caressing.🍵
Lo primero, una de las cosas más tediosas y que detesto de mi rutina, es afeitarme. Si fuera de mi elección, en definitiva haría que dejara de salir la barba, porque no me sale frondosa, solo sale una barba que hace ver mi rostro sucio. Por ende, tuve que afeitarme antes de toda la limpieza.🪒
Lo bueno es que al menos pude ponerme a grabar algunos gifs chistosos antes de afeitarme, así podía compartirlos con ustedes y ver si les saco una risita, jajaja.
First of all, one of the most tedious things I hate about my routine is shaving. If it was my choice, I would definitely make my beard stop growing, because I don't get a full beard, I just get a beard that makes my face look dirty. Therefore, I had to shave before all the cleaning.🪒
The good thing is that at least I was able to record some funny gifs before shaving, so I could share them with you and see if I get a chuckle out of you, hahaha.
El primer paso de la rutina que me apliqué anoche fue sencillo: Lavar mi cara con la loción limpiadora de vaquita, que además de ser mi fiel compañera, sigue siendo de los mejores productos para limpiar y exfoliar mi cara, dejándola con una sensación de limpieza inigualable. Aunque debo admitir que esta vez no eché tanta loción en el pequeño cepillo facial y no se hizo tanta espuma como se ha hecho en otras oportunidades.
Como sea, debo admitir que adoré hacer el pequeño gif, porque aunque suene loco, una de mis partes favoritas de hacer el skincare y compartirlo con ustedes es grabar los gifs y tratar de hacerlos graciosos para ustedes. Este lo grabé como cinco veces hasta que saliera el resultado que más me gustó. Y ahora sí, a lavar mi carita.🧼
The first step of the routine I applied last night was simple: Wash my face with the little cow cleansing lotion, which besides being my faithful companion, continues to be one of the best products to clean and exfoliate my face, leaving it with an unmatched clean feeling. Although I must admit that this time I didn't put as much lotion on the little facial brush and it didn't lather up as much as it has done on other occasions.
Anyway, I have to admit that I loved making the little gif, because as crazy as it sounds, one of my favorite parts of making skincare and sharing it with you is recording the gifs and trying to make them funny for you guys. I recorded this one about five times until I got the result I liked the most. And now, yes, to wash my face.🧼
Luego uno de los productos que más me ha complacido de mi última compra: Mi sérum aclarante. Producto milagroso que finalmente ha eliminado mis manchas faciales. Aunque creo que dejaré este producto para traerlo en una reseña individual. Por ahora solo les digo que lo apliqué únicamente en mi nariz y, es el único producto que he estado usando a diario.
Lo eché en mi nariz y lo regué levemente con mis dedos, como pueden observar en el primer gif que les adjunto. Luego, con mi rodillo facial de jade, empecé a masajear todo mi rostro, en especial la zona donde había aplicado el sérum, tanto para activar la circulación en mi cara como para que el sérum fuera absorbido mejor. Adoro usar el rodillo en especial cuando está bien frio, es relajante.💆🏻♂️
Then one of the products I was most pleased with from my last purchase: My lightening serum. Miracle product that has finally cleared up my facial blemishes. Although I think I will leave this product to bring it in an individual review. For now I'll just tell you that I applied it only on my nose and, it's the only product I've been using on a daily basis.
I poured it on my nose and lightly dabbed it with my fingers, as you can see in the first gif I'm attaching. Then, with my jade facial roller, I started massaging my entire face, especially the area where I had applied the serum, both to activate the circulation in my face and so that the serum would be absorbed better. I love using the roller especially when it's nice and cold, it's soothing.💆🏻♂️
Ahora sí, el producto estrella. El “Cucumber Sleeping Mask” o, como su traducción dice, Mascarilla para dormir de pepino, es una mascarilla que usas luego de tu rutina de limpieza facial, sirve para sellar algunos productos que hayas usado tales como sérum u otras mascarillas de ese estilo de uso. Lo primero es, obviamente, sacarme unas pequeñas selfies con el producto antes de abrirlo y empezar en sí la reseña del producto.🥒
Now, the star product. The "Cucumber Sleeping Mask" is a mask that you use after your facial cleansing routine; it serves to seal some products that you have used such as serum or other masks of that style of use. The first thing is, obviously, to take a few selfies with the product before I open it and start the product review.🥒
Momento de abrir el producto. Lo primero que agradezco es que tiene un abre-fácil, que facilita inmensamente su apertura, y aunque solo hay que aplicar un poco de fuerza, es sencillo y cualquiera lo puede hacer, incluso más fácil que abrir un jugo instantáneo. Noté, de inmediato, que se trata de un gel, bastante fresco si se tiene refrigerado, y ya estaba ansioso por sentirlo en mi cara para ver si era tan refrescante como prometía.
Obviamente estuve sintiendo la textura, se trata de un gel parecido al otro que había probado de sábila, generan la misma sensación. En cuanto al olor (obvio iba a olerlo antes de aplicarlo), me da la sensación de oler una chupeta de patilla, o algo similar a eso. Huele bastante al olor artificial del pepino. No es desagradable, pero no es mi fragancia favorita en un producto de Skincare.🍉
Now, let's open the product. The first thing I appreciate is that it has an easy-opener, which makes it immensely easy to open, and although you only have to apply a little force, it is simple and anyone can do it, even easier than opening an instant juice. I noticed, right away, that this is a gel, quite cool if you have it refrigerated, and I was already anxious to feel it on my face to see if it was as refreshing as it promised.
Obviously I was feeling the texture, it is a similar gel to the other one I had tried with aloe vera, they generate the same sensation. As for the smell (obviously I was going to smell it before applying it), it gives me the sensation of smelling a watermelon lollipop, or something similar to that. It smells quite a bit like the artificial smell of cucumber. It's not unpleasant, but it's not my favorite fragrance in a Skincare product.🍉
Y llegó el momento de aplicarlo. De inmediato tuve una sensación de frescura, masajear mi rostro con esta mascarilla/gel fue sumamente relajante, en especial luego de haber afeitado y exfoliado mi rostro, era justo el tipo de producto que necesitaba, tanto para hidratar como para tener esta sensación de frescura. En esta ocasión usé un poco más de la mitad del producto para que se notara un poco más en fotos y gifs que grabaría para ustedes, pero de igual forma me encargué de regarlo de forma uniforme y que todo mi rostro tuviera de la mascarilla. Aunque, acá entre nos, le puse un pelín más en partes donde tenían algunas espinillas que venían saliendo, como pueden notar más que todo en las fotos, con la esperanza de que estos pequeños granos desaparezcan.
Me saqué mis fotos y la verdad es que incluso se sentía fresco, fue como “menos mal que me eché esta mascarilla” porque la cara se sentía reseca luego de afeitarme y, además de eso, exfoliarme. Siento que tomé la decisión correcta.✨
Now it was time to apply it. Immediately I had a fresh feeling, massaging my face with this mask/gel was extremely relaxing, especially after shaving and exfoliating my face, it was just the kind of product I needed, both to moisturize and to have this fresh feeling. On this occasion I used a little more than half of the product so that it would show a little more in photos and gifs that I would record for you, but I also took care to spread it evenly so that my whole face had the mask. Although, just between us, I put a little more in parts where I had some pimples that were coming out, as you can notice mostly in the photos, in the hope that these small pimples disappear.
I took my pictures and the truth is that it even felt fresh, it was like "thank goodness I put this mask on" because my face felt dry after shaving and exfoliating on top of that. I feel like I made the right decision.✨
Luego de esa pequeña sesión de skincare, era hora de ir a camita. La verdad estaba nervioso porque el aire acondicionado de mi cuarto no ha estado funcionando bien, y tenía tiempo sin echarme alguna mascarilla o gel, solo mi sérum aclarante, del resto nada, porque me daba miedo que por falta de ventilación, el gel tardara mucho en secarse y terminara haciendo un desastre.
Nada más lejos de la realidad, este gel/mascarilla para dormir fue súper práctica y se secó rápido, así que pude acostarme con toda confianza, a dejar que hiciera su efecto nocturno y esperar al siguiente día para ver los resultados. Estaba ansioso, porque la he usado antes, pero quería ver si funcionaría contra las pequeñas espinillas que recién me habían salido. Unas buenas horas de sueño y comprobaríamos que tan buena es la mascarilla de pepino.🌜
After that little skincare photoshoot, it was time to go to bed. The truth is I was nervous because the air conditioning in my room hasn't been working well, and I hadn't used any mask or gel for a while, only my lightening serum, nothing else, because I was afraid that due to lack of ventilation, the gel would take too long to dry and I would end up making a mess.
Nothing could be further from the truth, this sleeping gel/mask was super practical and dried fast, so I could confidently go to bed, let it take effect at night and wait for the next day to see the results. I was anxious, because I've used it before, but I wanted to see if it would work against the little pimples I had just gotten. A good few hours of sleep and we would see how good the cucumber mask is.🌜
Estoy con un poco de gripe, así que fue una noche terrible… pero, vaya que se notaron los resultados. A pesar de que tengo la cara un poco hinchada porque recién acababa de despertar, se notaba, con la cara aún con la mascarilla, que había hecho un buen efecto.🤧
Después de un buen baño, ni me había lavado la cara para hacerlo exclusivamente con ustedes, delante de la cámara. En esta oportunidad me eché mi jabón de glicerina del cual ya les he hablado anteriormente. Es el que uso siempre antes de ir al gimnasio y me deja la cara limpia. Mientras me echaba el jabón, lo único que pensaba era en ver como quedaba mi piel gracias a la mascarilla que me estaba quitando. Al momento de secarme, como pueden ver en el segundo gif, traté de hacerlo con cuidado para no estrujarme la cara.
I'm with a bit of flu, so it was a terrible night... but, boy, did the results show. Even though my face is a little puffy because I had just woken up, you could tell, with my face still with the mask on, that it had had a good effect.🤧
After a good bath, I had not even washed my face to do it exclusively with you, in front of the camera. This time I used my glycerin soap, which I have told you about before. It's the one I always use before going to the gym and it leaves my face clean. While I was applying the soap, all I could think about was to see how my skin looked thanks to the mask I was removing. When it was time to dry myself, as you can see in the second gif, I tried to do it carefully so as not to scrunch my face.
Luego de secar bien mi rostro, estaba súper agradecido con esa mascarilla. Había amado absolutamente el resultado final, lo grabé y saqué fotos. Había quedado bastante conforme, incluso no sé si sean cosas mías, pero sentía que el sérum había hecho un poco mejor su efecto. Tenía mi rostro listo para empezar el día con buen pie.
Les digo, amé la mascarilla, para mí un 9 / 10, me gustara más quizás en otra presentación que no sea de pepino, o que el olor fuera mucho más agradable, pero ya me conocen y saben que el olor de los productos es mi talón de Aquiles. Pero en sí, el resultado final me ha fascinado inmensamente.❣️
After drying my face well, I was super grateful with that mask. I absolutely loved the final result; I recorded it and took pictures. I was quite satisfied, I don't even know if it's just me, but I felt that the serum had done its job a little better. I had my face ready to start the day on the right foot.
I tell you, I loved the mask, for me a 9 / 10, I would like it better perhaps in another presentation that is not cucumber, or that the smell was much more pleasant, but you know me and you know that the smell of the products is my Achilles heel. But in itself, the end result has fascinated me immensely.❣️
Y bien, hasta aquí mi reseña, aunque no termina mi rutina allí, porque el último paso es súper importante. Recuerden nunca olvidar echarse su respectivo protector solar. Actualmente estoy usando este bloqueador que me ha servido de maravilla, siento que protege muy bien contra el sol y me lo han recomendado varias personas, incluso que ha sido recomendado por doctores y dermatólogos.☀️
