No quería dejar pasar la oportunidad para contarles sobre una afección que padeci en la piel hace aproximadamente 2 meses, y que mejor para hacerlo en esta comunidad, y así hablarles detalladamente sobre toda mi experiencia desde la primera aparición hasta mi actual tratamiento.
Resumiendoles un poco la historia de como descubri o me di cuenta que tenía esta afección, fue porque me empezaron a aparecer manchitas en la piel, inicialmente en la pierna. Estás manchitas variaban en tamaños, eran de un color rosa opaco y no picaba, si estaban un poco brotadas pero Afortunadamente no me causaban ningún malestar.
A primera vista mi reacción o diagnóstico a esto fue un pequeño brote de hongo causado quizás por el agua o alguna reacción alérgica, y como ya tenía en casa un producto para ello llamado Ketoconazol, inicie aplicandommelo en las áreas. Con el pasar de los días, obviamente miraba que las manchas no desaparecían y tampoco tenían intención de mejorar, al contrario, empecé a notar que aparecían más en otras partes del cuerpo, fue allí en ese momento que me alarmé y busque ayuda profesional.

I didn't want to miss the opportunity to tell you about a skin condition I suffered from about 2 months ago, and what better to do it in this community, and thus tell you in detail about my whole experience from the first appearance to my current treatment.
To summarize a little bit the story of how I discovered or realized that I had this condition, it was because I started to get spots on my skin, initially on my leg. These spots varied in size, they were a dull pink color and did not itch, if they were a little sprouted but fortunately they did not cause me any discomfort.
At first sight my reaction or diagnosis to this was a small fungus outbreak caused perhaps by the water or some allergic reaction, and as I already had at home a product for it called Ketoconazole, I started applying it on the areas. As the days went by, obviously I noticed that the spots did not disappear and had no intention of getting better, on the contrary, I began to notice that they appeared more in other parts of the body, it was at that moment that I became alarmed and sought professional help.
Por muy buenas recomendaciones contacte a una de las mejores dermatólogas de la ciudad, ella atiende vía WhatsApp, así que le escribí y le comenté todo lo que me venía sucediendo sobre este problema en la piel. Luego de hacerme varias preguntas por llamada finalmente había determinado cuál era mi diagnóstico, Pitiriasis rosada de Gibert, según me explico, esta afección aún tiene una causa desconocida pero afortunadamente no es contagiosa (algo que a mí me alivio muchísimo), tiene un lapso de tiempo de aparición que puede durar entre 3 a 4 meses, y a medida que avanza cambia de color de marrón, blancas hasta tomar un color normal de mi piel.
Adicional a esto me mandó a realizarme algunos exámenes médicos de sangre para checar mis niveles de glicemia y los glóbulos blancos. La verdad es que la doctora durante toda la consulta fue muy amable ya que yo estaba súper nerviosa y un poco angustiada por este brote repentino de causa desconocida, y la verdad como paciente se agradece su empatía para tranquilizarnos y no alarmarnos ante estos casos donde la salud es lo más valioso e importante 😊.
Afortunadamente los resultados salieron muy bien y seguidamente la Dra me recetó el tratamiento adecuado para esta afección. Lo primero fue un jabón de baño para piel seca de la marca BIOS, y he decir que desde entonces lo sigo usando como mi jabón limpiador en las rutinas de skin care. Cómo complemento a esto me recetó una crema hidratante de la marca Medihealth llamado Hidribet. Entonces con estos debía mantener una buena higiene en mi piel para corregir esta afección y quizás con esto mejorar también mi rutina de limpieza con nuevos productos acordes a mi tipo de piel. Finalmente me recetó una crema para aplicarmela en las manchitas de la marca biotech llamada Betaderm, esta crema debía colocarla sobre las manchas luego de haberme aplicado la crema hidratante que les mencioné anteriormente. En esa semana cuando todo estaba recién me mandó a tomar además durante una semana un antialérgico, una vez pasado los días ya las podía dejar.

In addition to this, she sent me for some medical blood tests to check my glycemia levels and white blood cells. The truth is that the doctor was very kind during the whole consultation since I was super nervous and a little anxious about this sudden outbreak of unknown cause, and the truth is that as a patient I appreciate her empathy to reassure us and not alarm us in these cases where health is the most valuable and important thing 😊.
Fortunately the results came back very well and then the doctor prescribed me the right treatment for this condition. The first thing was a bath soap for dry skin from the brand BIOS, and I have to say that since then I still use it as my cleansing soap in my skin care routines. As a complement to this she prescribed a moisturizer from Medihealth called Hidribet. So with these I had to maintain a good hygiene in my skin to correct this condition and perhaps also improve my cleansing routine with new products according to my skin type. Finally she prescribed me a cream to apply on the spots of the biotech brand called Betaderm, this cream should be applied on the spots after having applied the moisturizing cream I mentioned before. During that week when everything was just fine, he also ordered me to take an anti-allergic for a week, and after a few days I could stop taking it.
Desde ese momento hasta la actualidad ha pasado aproximadamente un mes y realmente he notado favorables resultados con el tratamiento, y tal como me lo advirtió la Dra, a pesar de que ya las primeras manchas casi han desaparecido, aún continuan saliéndome otras en otras partes del cuerpo pero ya son más pequeñas y de color mucho más opaco casi traslúcidas, así que hoy puedo decir que me siento muy contenta por mirar el antes y el después y lo mucho que he mejorado, ya puedo salir, usar la ropa que me gusta y exponer esas áreas que hace meses me daba vergüenza enseñar, y lo más importante que al fin vuelvo a tener mi piel encaminada a estar nuevamente saludable y... sin manchitas extrañas 😅. También les quería compartir como recomendación luego de esta experiencia es a no automedicarnos o aplicarnos productos en nuestra piel sin tener la aprobación previa de un especialista sobre todo si en ella tenemos alguna lesión desde una pitiriasis desconocido hasta lo más común como un acné, puede ser delicado y lo podríamos empeorar. Desde entonces me he mantenido en control con la Dra y cada producto o tratamiento lo consulto antes con ella y me siento súper feliz por las mejorías.
Espero les haya gustado y quizás les sirva a futuro mi experiencia con esta afección como guía si en algún momento notan algo parecido en su piel o conocen a alguien que lo tenga, y recuerden siempre antes que nada consultarlo con su dermatólogo de confianza, fue un placer haberles compartido esta información o pequeña experiencia y será hasta la próxima! 💕
From that moment until now it has been about a month and I have really noticed favorable results with the treatment, and as the Dr. warned me, although the first spots have almost disappeared, I still continue to get other spots in other parts of the body but they are smaller and much more opaque color almost translucent, So today I can say that I am very happy to look at the before and after and how much I have improved, I can go out, wear the clothes I like and expose those areas that months ago I was ashamed to show, and most importantly I finally have my skin back on track to be healthy again and.... .. without any strange spots 😅. I also wanted to share as a recommendation after this experience is not to self-medicate or apply products on our skin without the prior approval of a specialist especially if we have any injury from an unknown pityriasis to the most common as an acne, it can be delicate and we could worsen it. Since then I have kept in control with the Dr. and every product or treatment I consult with her before and I feel very happy for the improvements.
