Hi ladies (and gents), how's your skin doing today? Today I want to begin a category I love blogging about which is called Product Empties. I will be sharing with you the skincare products that I have recently exhausted and decide if I'm rebuying or not.
If there's one thing I know how to do with my skincare, it's sticking to a product when I think it works for me. This has been the case with the Nivea Perfect & Radiant Eventone Day Cream. Since I began using it, I haven't looked back or thought about trying something different.
I think face creams are very essential as they're gentler on the facial skin which is a lot thinner than the skin on the rest of the body. Prior to this product, I used Face Facts which I thought was great, but after a while, I couldn't find that anywhere around me.
Nivea's marketing is awesome because they were in my face and stuck in my head. I didn't waste time in picking this when I was looking for a new face cream. It is a 'day cream' but I use it whenever I come out of the shower.
Product Claim
The Nivea Perfect & Radiant Eventone Day Cream claims to enhance skin complexion by gradually reducing the appearance of dark marks and giving you a more even skin tone. It gives your skin a mattified look and leaves it feeling soft and smooth. It also has SPF 15 sun protection and is easily absorbent.
The Packaging
The Nivea Perfect & Radiant Eventone Day Cream comes in a 50ml cup. It's in the usual Nivea plain white body and trademark blue and pink writeups.
Ingredients
I don't know a lot about product ingredients but I always look out for water as the first ingredient. If it doesn't have water should it really be going on your skin, hmm? The first few ingredients on the list are Aqua, Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate, Glycerin, Benzophenone-3, Alcohol Denat., e.t.c.
The Price
This product retails for about 1600 to 2000 Naira.
My Impression of Nivea Perfect & Radiant Eventone Day Cream
Smell
It smelled like a Nivea product actually. If you know that trademark scent that Nivea products have, this product has that same underlying smell and it's so good.
Consistency
Again with the Nivea trademark reference, this product also has that body cream consistency and is very easy to blend into the skin. They weren't lying when they said it's super absorbent. A little scoop does the job and it gets right into the skin. It doesn't make me sweat except the weather is hot and in that case, I use very little.
Will I Be Repurchasing Nivea Perfect & Radiant Eventone Day Cream ?
I had no idea this had SPF in it and I have used it for about a year now without using an actual sunscreen. All this while, I haven't had a lot of problems being out in the sun and I can only attribute that to the SPF in this day cream.
My face always feels super soft when I use it and it remains that way till the next time I wash my face and make use of it. My skin texture feels good, my face is even-toned, and it's always moisturized. My skin is less oily than before and I am super confident in my bare face.
I have used it over and over and I'm not about to stop now. I am such a big fan and I swear by it. I'd definitely recommend if you're in need of a face cream and yes, I am restocking again.
Have you tried it before? What do you think?
