En la esquina de Régulo Ortega, allí en la calle Comercio de Villa de Cura, estado Aragua, en la otra esquina, la del samán, o, mejor dicho, antiguo bar de Guariguata, no menos de una cuadra de la plaza Bolívar, está un guairense: Renny Avellaneda. Traído desde La Guaira a sus diez años aquí a nuestro pueblo y se quedó para siempre, porque el que toma agua del río Curita nunca más se marcha de aquí.
Él tiene un establecimiento de autogomas. Hace gomas para cualquier aparato que lo necesite pero se ha trazado una meta y es ayudar al prójimo. Cualquier persona con discapacidad que use bastón, muletas, silla de ruedas, gentilmente él sin cobrar un céntimo le hace su reparación y de allí salen con su gomita antiresbalante.
"Lo poco que tengo lo comparto con mis semejantes"
Este es su lema. Y se siente contento, satisfecho, por la labor realizada.
Aunque él no mencionó nada al respecto, de fuentes altamente confiables, recibí la información de que al amigo Renny le apasiona la música y que, de hecho, estuvo un tiempo recibiendo clases de guitarra con la Prof. María Teresa Fuenmayor, actividad que se vio obligado a abandonar ya que su trabajo le absorbe mucho tiempo y no podía practicar entre una clase y otra y como bien se sabe qué la música es "10% de inspiración y 90% de transpiración" no pudo en ese momento lograr ese sueño de completar su aprendizaje con la guitarra.
