Mi nombre es Daya y soy venezolana, nacida en uno de los estados andinos más lindos del país: El Táchira. Ahí es donde nos tienen apodos y algunos lo conocen como Gochilandia. Amo la playa y la gastronomía marina, soy profesional en el área de Educación y tengo estudios en Psicología infantil. A los 20 años me fui de mi casa, ejercí mi carrera durante unos años y con el tiempo descubrí que el tema de emprender me abriría las puertas a tener una calidad de vida mucho más maravillosa y por ello tengo mi propio negocio, que ya luego les contaré más adelante como se fue iluminando los caminos para tenerlo y dejando claro que emprender es algo de constancia y perseverancia, ya que ser tu propio jefe es también retador.

Les cuento que llevo unos años por Medellín-Antioquia que pertenece a Colombia, mejor conocida como la ciudad de la "Eterna primavera" que, por cierto, vivo enamorada de este lugar y de sus 125 municipios; es bastante turística y estoy segura de que cualquiera podría antojarse de pasar unos días aquí y por qué no? Hasta unas semanas y meses también.
I have been in Medellin-Antioquia, which belongs to Colombia, better known as the city of the "Eternal Spring", which, by the way, I live in love with this place and its 125 municipalities; it is quite touristic and I am sure that anyone could be tempted to spend a few days here and why not? Por acá constantemente llegan muchos visitantes de todo el mundo, aunque predominan los europeos y se van muy maravillados de cada lugar que visitan, sobre todo la famosa "Piedra del peñol" y la gente sin duda hace que sea más acogedor, tanto así que solo venía de "visita" a un taller de crecimiento personal en la famosa ubicación del poblado y quedé tan encantada que al mes aliste mis maletas y me vine a vivir a este lugar sin pensarlo. Solo puedo decir que fue una conexión tan mágica y sigo pensando que la energía de este lugar le hace bien a mi alma. De hecho, muchos amigos me han dicho: deberías quedarte en algún lugar de la unión Europea y honestamente aún no he sentido ese llamado para poder hacerlo parte de mi hogar. Lo que sí les puedo decir, es que donde eso ocurra, agarro un avión y me voy jajaja. ¿Pero saben qué, bellezas? Lo más hermoso es dormir donde tu corazón y tu mente se sientan en plenitud y felicidad.
Many visitors constantly come here from all over the world, although Europeans predominate and they are amazed by every place they visit, especially the famous "Piedra del Peñol" and the people certainly make it more welcoming, so much so that I only came to "visit" a personal growth workshop in the famous location of the village and I was so delighted that a month later I packed my bags and came to live here without thinking about it. I can only say that it was such a magical connection and I still think that the energy of this place does my soul good. In fact, many friends have told me: you should stay somewhere in the European Union and honestly I have not yet felt that call to make it part of my home. What I can tell you, is that wherever that happens, I'm getting on a plane and going hahaha. But you know what, beauties? The most beautiful thing is to sleep where your heart and mind feel full and happy.
Recuerdo que los primeros meses conocí muchas personas bonitas de otras partes del mundo, donde hasta por señas hablábamos para comunicarnos y era muy gracioso. Fuimos de fiesta a "Salón amador", donde se disfruta de música electrónica y el ambiente es fabuloso. Llevan los mejores DJs y solo debes dejar que tu cuerpo se alinee con ese ritmo y la felicidad te atrapara en segundos, aunque si me ponen a elegir entre una fiesta y estar en una montaña rodeada de mucha naturaleza y el sonido de los árboles y las aves, créanme que sin duda elegiría la segunda opción. Por aquí les dejaré ambas maneras de divertirse.
I remember the first few months I met many beautiful people from other parts of the world, where we even used sign language to communicate and it was very funny. We went to party at "Salón Amador", where you can enjoy electronic music and the atmosphere is fabulous. They have the best DJs and you just have to let your body align with that rhythm and happiness will catch you in seconds, although if you put me to choose between a party and being in a mountain surrounded by nature and the sound of trees and birds, believe me I would definitely choose the second option. Por otro lado, me apasiona la poesía, hace parte de mi vida y NO SOY POETA NI PERFECTA, aunque les puedo decir que estoy aquí para aprender de cada uno de ustedes y también para compartir mis escritos que, por cierto, siempre van acompañados de un buen café, ya sea frío o caliente. Desde que tengo uso de razón amo escribir. Siempre he pensado que es la mejor forma de drenar todo lo que está en nuestro interior y MUCHAS VECES no tenemos las palabras para decirlas, por ello, optamos por un lápiz, papel y plasmamos nuestro sentir allí.
On the other hand, I am passionate about poetry, it is part of my life and I AM NOT A POET NOR PERFECT, although I can tell you that I am here to learn from each one of you and also to share my writings which, by the way, are always accompanied by a good coffee, either hot or cold. For as long as I can remember I love writing. I have always thought that it is the best way to drain everything that is inside us and MANY TIMES we do not have the words to say them, so we opt for a pencil, paper and capture our feelings there.

Lo curioso es que yo no solía demostrar mis sentimientos, pero me di un regalo que ha hecho que sea más consciente, dejando a un lado el juego de: "Quien siente menos" y realmente la invitación es escuchar tu intuición y así siempre sabremos cuando podemos apostarle al amor sin miedos y siendo auténticos.

Y si me preguntan por la familia, amo con todo mi ser pasar tiempo con ellos, honestamente hay dos cosas que extraño de esas reuniones; que por tema país las navidades no son las mismas y que mi abuela. Se fue muy rápido y era la mejor del mundo y hasta bailaba conmigo como si fuese una adolescente. Dicen que yo era su nieta favorita 🥰 y bueno, realmente si lo era.
And if you ask me about family, I love with all my being to spend time with them, honestly there are two things I miss about those gatherings; that because of the country Christmas is not the same and my grandmother. She left very quickly and she was the best in the world and even danced with me as if I was a teenager. They say I was her favorite granddaughter 🥰 and well, I really was.
