Celebrando el BitcoinPizzaDay en Ecuador [ESP-ENG]

Todo comenzó con pizzas de Papa John's hace 13 años y un pago con 10000 mil bitcoins, así que los Hivers que estamos aquí en Ecuador y algunos amigos invitados, decidimos ir a la franquicia de Pizza donde todo empezó: Papa John's en "La Cuadra" - Portoviejo - Manabi - Ecuador.

El día de ayer se celebró en todo el mundo el #BitcoinPizzaDay2023, tengo casi 5 años conociendo la Blockchain y apenas ayer, fue la primera vez que celebro este día, además de eso fue la primera vez que se lleva acabo un Meetup de Hive, aquí en Ecuador, es decir se logró un 2 por 1, gracias a Hive account@hiveio y contamos con la asistencia no solo de Hivers que están aquí en Portoviejo capital Manabita, si no también de algunos amigos invitados a quienes les pude contar sobre Hive, la Web3 y sus bondades.

It all started with Papa John's pizzas 13 years ago and a payment with 10000 thousand bitcoins, so the Hivers that are here in Ecuador and some invited friends, decided to go to the Pizza franchise where it all started: Papa John's in "La Cuadra" - Portoviejo - Manabi - Ecuador.

Yesterday was celebrated worldwide the #BitcoinPizzaDay2023, I have almost 5 years knowing the Blockchain and just yesterday, was the first time I celebrate this day, besides that was the first time that a Hive Meetup is held here in Ecuador, thanks to Hive account@hiveio and we had the assistance not only of Hivers who are here in Portoviejo, capital of Manabita, but also of some invited friends to whom I could tell them about Hive, Web3 and its benefits.

Estuve feliz de Anunciar vía Twitter que la Comunidad de Hive en Ecuador, si tendría su #HivePizzaParty y muchos reaccionaron en apoyo a ello.

I was happy to announce via Twitter that the Hive Community in Ecuador would have its #HivePizzaParty and many reacted in support of it.

Así que luego de este anuncio me puse en la gestión de organizar todo para el siguiente día, es decir para ayer. La cita quedó pautada para el lunes 22 de Mayo a las 6:30 PM hora de Ecuador. Nos reunimos en la parte de adentro del local, donde algunos se conocieron y pasamos unas horas geniales, entre hablar de Bitcoin, Hive, la Web3 y sus beneficios y también entre disfrutar, comer pizza y tomar Coca-Cola.

Para este primer meetup y celebración del Bitcoinpizzaday, mandé a realizar una Merch de Hive, para así poder verme como una digna representante de nuestro ecosistema blockchain y unas tazas mágicas con nuestro logo para así dar de premio a algunos de los asistentes, quienes pudieron disfrutar de pizzas, bebidas y postre gratis y además se les pudo costear el transporte, todo gracias a Hive.

So after this announcement I started to organize everything for the next day, that is to say for yesterday. The appointment was scheduled for Monday, May 22nd at 6:30 PM Ecuadorian time. We met inside the venue, where some of us met and spent some great hours, talking about Bitcoin, Hive, Web3 and its benefits and also enjoying ourselves, eating pizza and drinking Coca-Cola.

For this first meetup and celebration of Bitcoinpizzaday, I had a Hive Merch made, so I could see myself as a worthy representative of our blockchain ecosystem and some magic mugs with our logo to give as a prize to some of the attendees, who could enjoy free pizzas, drinks and dessert and they could also pay for their transportation, all thanks to Hive.

Me gustó mucho ver a los chicos felices, disfrutar de buenas pizzas y además poder compartir con ellos sobre Hive, perder hablarles a los invitados sobre los beneficios que este nos ofrece y que ellos pudieran mostrarse interesados. La pasamos muy bien, todos comieron quedando satisfechos, en mi caso creo que fui la que menos comió, ya que estaba al pendiente de la logística y de enseñar sobre Bitcoin y Hive a los chicos.

También nos acompañaron los niños y la mini Hiver Hive account@ammy11, quienes se portaron muy bien, ya que les compartía señal wifi para que se entretuvieran viendo videos de YouTube y Ammy definitivamente lo disfrutó, a cada rato le decía a los otros chicos que ella también estaba en Hive y hacia videos 😅, es bueno haciendo Marketing. También me gustó que prestarán atención a la explicación, lo noté porque los concursos para los premios estuvieron reñidos.

I really enjoyed seeing the kids happy, enjoying good pizzas and also being able to share with them about Hive, losing to talk to the guests about the benefits it offers us and that they could be interested. We had a great time, everyone ate and were satisfied, in my case I think I was the one who ate the least, as I was taking care of the logistics and teaching the kids about Bitcoin and Hive.

We were also accompanied by the kids and the mini Hiver Hive account@ammy11, who behaved very well, as I shared wifi signal for them so they could entertain themselves watching YouTube videos and Ammy definitely enjoyed it, every now and then she would tell the other kids that she was also on Hive and making videos 😅, she is good at Marketing. I also liked that they paid attention to the explanation, I noticed it because the contests for the prizes were close.

Definitivamente, fue una buena noche. Lo mejor es que el BitcoinPizzaDay cayó día Lunes y en Papa John's tienen una promoción en pizzas medianas, así que obtuvimos un descuento de aproximadamente $30 y me pareció excelente 😁 ya que aquí las pizzas son algo costosas. Nos divertimos y salimos del local como a las 9:00 PM, luego de comer mucha pizza.

It was definitely a good night. The best thing is that BitcoinPizzaDay fell on Monday and Papa John's has a promotion on medium pizzas, so we got a discount of about $30 and I thought it was excellent 😁 since pizzas here are kind of expensive. We had fun and left the place around 9:00 PM, after eating a lot of pizza.
