Muchos me escribieron preguntando qué pasaba ayer en Ecuador, pero esto que sucedió ayer, es algo que viene dado por tratos que no debieron existir hace años. No entraré en detalles, pero aquí les dejo una fuente verídica y en especial con la noticia real de lo que sucedió: Información.
Ahora bien, hay una pregunta en la que me quedé reflexionando ayer en la noche y hoy volví a ello mientras hablaba con mi hermana: ¿Quién ganó ayer en Ecuador?, porque los terroristas que secuestraron el canal de Televisión en Vivo, fueron capturados. Entonces, ¿podríamos decir que ganó la policía, el gobierno, los militares?
No lo creo, ganó el mal, las bandas delictivas causaron y lograron lo que querían. Meter miedo en los ciudadanos que desde el fin de semana ya veníamos alertados ante la situación que se vive. Además de eso causaron caos, ya que el Ministerio de Educación no suspendió las clases cuando se les pidió, si no después y mientras pasó todo ayer, había niños y jóvenes en las escuelas, colegios y universidades, quedando algunos heridos.
Ganó el mal, porque toda la ciudad donde vivo quedó con las calles vacías. Cerraron los comercios, empresas privadas y públicas. No había transporte público ni privado y todos buscaron encerrarse en sus casa por seguridad. Ya que circulaba mucha información la cual no se sabía en sí que era real o no.
Y aquí es donde les explico por qué digo que ganó el mal. Porque ellos querían causar terror y caos, y muchas veces somos parte de ello, somos parte porque compartimos a través de nuestras redes sociales cualquier tipo de información sin verificar que vengan de una fuente confiable. Sin siquiera investigar que sea real y lo peor no es que lo creemos, es que se lo enviamos a otros.
Y hablo en plural, aunque no soy de ese tipo de personas. Soy de la que ignora las cadenas de WhatsApp y evita estar en grupos de chat "informativos", pero independiente de eso, en un momento de caos, cuando por todos lados se bombardea de información, es difícil no caer en pánico o que todo esto te afecte.
Ayer yo solo quería que mi esposo y mi hermana llegarán a salvó a sus casas. Ayer se decía mucho y muchas cosas si pasaron, pero estamos bien gracias a Dios y en mi ciudad más fue el caos causado por lo antes mencionado, que todo lo que realmente sucedía. Sin embargo el mal también gana porque viene haciendo su trabajo hace años, amedrentando, matando y abusando de la ciudadanía, porque se han metido hasta en los puestos importantes en cada ciudad y esto hace que la gente tema.
Ayer, en medio del caos, mi hija veía a los niños de las dos escuelas cercanas, pasar corriendo por el frente de nuestra casa, algunos de ellos con sus padres, otros solos, lastimosamente. Y ella no entendía mucho de lo que se veía en la televisión, de lo que la gente gritaba. Así que tuve que pensar, primero en ella y explicarle todo. Porque en momentos de caos, olvidamos a los más pequeños y lo que puedan sentir.
Mi reflexión hoy concluye con lo siguiente: no seamos fuente de la falsa información, no seamos parte de aquellos que quieren causar terror, seamos diferentes. ¿Cómo? Verifica la fuente, busca páginas oficiales y creíbles para saber si lo que te enviaron es cierto. Si es cierto, no alarmes a otros, muestra calma y avísales, para que también sepan e incluye un enlace de una fuente oficial y en especial, en momentos así, nunca te olvides de los más pequeños.

Evil won, because the whole city where I live was left with empty streets. Businesses, private and public companies were closed. There was no public or private transportation and everyone sought to lock themselves in their homes for safety. There was a lot of information circulating which was not known to be real or not.
And here is where I explain why I say that evil won. Because they wanted to cause terror and chaos, and many times we are part of it, we are part of it because we share through our social networks any kind of information without verifying that it comes from a reliable source. Without even investigating that it is real and the worst thing is not that we believe it, it is that we send it to others.
And I speak in plural, although I am not that kind of person. I am one of those who ignores WhatsApp chains and avoids being in "informative" chat groups, but regardless of that, in a time of chaos, when everywhere is bombarded with information, it is difficult not to panic or that all this affects you.
Yesterday I just wanted my husband and my sister to get home safely. Yesterday a lot was said and many things did happen, but we are fine thanks to God and in my city more was the chaos caused by the above mentioned, than everything that was really happening. However, evil also wins because it has been doing its job for years, intimidating, killing and abusing the citizens, because they have even gotten into the important positions in each city and this makes people fear.
Yesterday, in the midst of the chaos, my daughter watched the children from the two nearby schools run past the front of our house, some of them with their parents, others alone, pitifully. And she didn't understand much of what was on TV, of what people were shouting. So I had to think, first of all about her and explain everything to her. Because in times of chaos, we forget the little ones and what they may feel.
My reflection today concludes with the following: let's not be the source of false information, let's not be part of those who want to cause terror, let's be different. How? Verify the source, look for official and credible pages to know if what they sent you is true. If it is true, do not alarm others, show calm and let them know, so they also know and include a link to an official source and especially, at times like this, never forget the little ones.
