Saludos a todos quienes forman parte de la comunidad de Aliento, desde hace unos días tenía pensado escribir de las cosas buenas que he aprendido en esta blockchain. Cuando llegué aquí no sabía cómo funcionaba la interfaz de Hive y el modo de gestión de la plataforma y de las personas quienes están adelante de nosotros como curadores, moderadores e inversores “ballenas”. Personas que han iniciado hace mucho tiempo atrás años de sacrificio y fruto de su esfuerzo.
Cuando comencé no entendía muchas cosas, entre ellas los términos que se usan por ejemplo ballenas en el mundo cripto, así que cometí el error preguntar qué era y mi novio quien amablemente me ayudó con esos conceptos.
El punto es que llegué a ciegas en conocimientos de criptomonedas, apenas hice hace un año una inversión en otra criptomoneda en otro mercado; por ende aquí cometí muchos errores de principiante. De igual manera, agradezco haberme lanzado, fue el tiempo perfecto porque tiempo atrás ya había experimentado algo en cuestiones de escritura y aprender de creatividad, planificación de tiempo, algo de inteligencia emocional, el manejo de redes sociales y ponerme al frente ayudando a estudiantes tesistas. Esto me sirvió muchísimo; sin embargo, faltaba otras cosas que desconocía o las había olvidado, algo sumamente básico.

El saber pedir las cosas y buscar ayuda de manera amable, lo menciono aquí porque como yo hay más personas que no sabemos como comunicarnos de manera asertiva, por ejemplo yo creía que quienes moderan los grupos en Discord o Telegram tenían el deber de siempre ayudarnos. Lo que yo hacía era llegar a los grupos sin saludar, sin presentarme, sin pedir sus consejos amablemente y sobre todo sin agradecer por el tiempo que nos brindan para mejorar nuestras publicaciones. Es extraño, lo sé, al menos yo vengo de otras redes sociales, de una cultura donde no es común saludarnos y hacer comunidad.
Con hacer comunidad me refiero a dejar comentarios positivos a los demás, a echarse la mano uno con los otros, ayudar a los novatos. Ahora es momento de mencionar a Natalia Loreto, de verdad ella es increíble y divertida, incluso fue la inspiración para atreverme a dar clases gratuitas de tesis, lo más bonito de todo fue que descubrí que varios de mis estudiantes eran de Venezuela. Es la persona que me guío en este camino, siempre que podía asistía a sus clases de los miércoles, mi recomendación a los nuevos es que aprovechen mientras esté disponible.

Con respecto a la iniciación con las publicaciones al inicio es un completo desorden, sentimientos negativos y frustraciones fue algo que me pasó. Considero que es normal sentirse así, pues queremos tener suerte de principiantes donde nuestros post son recompensados. Y comenzamos dando me gusta como si fuera redes sociales, esperamos que vengan a comentarnos los post para ahí recién hacerlo. O aún peor tener el ego de que solo mis publicaciones son las mejores, aquí en Hive el aprendizaje es constante como en todo los aspectos, siempre digo la frase “solo sé que nada sé” de Sócrates.
También me suelo decir a misma “no importa que a otros le vaya mejor que a mí, importa que yo estoy mejor que antes” que está experiencia me hará avanzar, no tratar de compararse o encajar en todo, solamente disfrutar de nuestro contenido y escribir nuestros aprendizajes, nuestros temores o lo que soñamos tener, hacer que nuestro día sea bonito. A mí me ha pasado que cuando escribo sin presión alguna ese post es recompensado y en el post que doy esfuerzo y terminó cansada nadie me ha votado. Esto es impredecible para cada persona, lo importante es encontrar lo que nos hace bien y por supuesto lo que funciona.
La segunda cosa que aprendí es olvidarme por completo de que Hive es como las redes sociales tradicionales. Funciona diferente, y lo que importa es el valor y el esfuerzo que se plasma en cada post, no se trata de impresionar, es algo en lo que aún estoy trabajando “como se dice menos es más” (esto desde mi punto de vista).

Para ya finalizar entendí que nuestro contenido refleja lo que somos, por ello me he propuesto dedicar tiempo en lectura, en crecimiento, en investigación, incluso espero inscribirme en un curso de Inglés impartido por una nativa de Estados Unidos. Es algo maravilloso seguir intentando y tener metas, así no resulten como se espera, siempre salimos ganando.
Al inicio mis post no eran votados, tampoco es que ahora me voten alto, pero no me puedo quejar, me ha ido de maravilla. Me he quedado aquí y seguiré aquí, porque le apuesto a este proyecto, ya lo he escuchado en varias ocasiones, que las criptomonedas descentralizadas son las que se quedarán y tendrán fortalecimiento en el futuro. Lo cual tiene mucha lógica porque no hace falta ver un gráfico para entender que no es un esquema ponzi.
Por el contrario, aquí todos aportan y toman decisiones en conjunto y en beneficio de todos. Por ello siempre que escribo lo hago con el objetivo de poder aportar en algo. Porque de eso se trata Hive no hacer lo que hacen las otras, blockchain, que solo se beneficien unos pocos y los que llegan al último no tienen tanto poder, así que también entiendo los consejos de Natalia cuando dice que “ningún voto es asegurado” o “hacer spam” con el propósito de ganar recompensas de una forma poco orgánica.
Más bien entiendo que lo se busca es mantener ese prestigio que la plataforma ha conseguido, que no sea únicamente con la mentalidad económica.

La tercera cosa que aprendí es que en Hive hay lugar para todos y que todos podemos crecer.

Greetings to all who are part of the Hive community, since a few days ago I was planning to write about the good things I have learned in this blockchain. When I arrived here I did not know how the Hive interface worked and how to manage the platform and the people who are ahead of us as curators, moderators and investors "whales". People who have started a long time ago, years of sacrifice and the fruit of their efforts.
When I started I did not understand many things, including the terms used for example whales in the crypto world, so I made the mistake of asking what it was and my boyfriend who kindly helped me with those concepts.
The point is that I arrived blind in cryptocurrency knowledge, I just made a year ago an investment in another cryptocurrency in another market; therefore here I made a lot of beginner mistakes. In the same way, I am grateful for having taken the plunge, it was the perfect time because some time ago I had already experienced something in writing and learning about creativity, time planning, some emotional intelligence, the management of social networks and getting in front of helping thesis students. This helped me a lot; however, I was missing other things that I didn't know or had forgotten, something very basic.

Knowing how to ask for things and seek help in a kind way, I mention it here because like me there are more people who do not know how to communicate assertively, for example I believed that those who moderate the groups in Discord or Telegram had the duty to always help us. What I used to do was to arrive to the groups without greeting, without introducing myself, without asking for their advice nicely and above all without thanking them for the time they give us to improve our publications. It's strange, I know, at least I come from other social networks, from a culture where it is not common to greet each other and make community.
By community I mean leaving positive comments to others, lending a hand to each other, helping newbies. Now it is time to mention Natalia Loreto, she is really amazing and funny, she was even the inspiration to dare to give free thesis classes, the most beautiful thing of all was that I discovered that several of my students were from Venezuela. She is the person who guided me on this path, whenever I could I attended her Wednesday classes, my recommendation to newcomers is to take advantage while she is available.

Regarding the initiation in publishing, at the beginning it is a complete mess, negative feelings and frustrations was something that happened to me. I think it's normal to feel that way, because we want to have beginner's luck where our posts are rewarded. And we start giving likes as if it were social networks, we wait for them to come and comment on our posts and then we just do it. Or even worse to have the ego that only my publications are the best, here in Hive learning is constant as in all aspects, I always say the phrase "I only know that I know nothing" of Socrates.
I also usually say to myself "it doesn't matter that others are doing better than me, it matters that I am better than before" that this experience will make me move forward, don't try to compare or fit in everything, just enjoy our content and write our learnings, our fears or what we dream to have, make our day beautiful. It has happened to me that when I write without any pressure that post is rewarded and in the post that I give effort and finished tired no one voted for me. This is unpredictable for each person, the important thing is to find what makes us good and of course what works.
The second thing I learned is to completely forget that Hive is like traditional social networks. It works differently, and what matters is the value and effort that goes into each post, it's not about impressing, it's something I'm still working on "as they say less is more" (this from my point of view).

Finally, I understood that our content reflects who we are, so I have decided to dedicate time to reading, growing, researching, and I even hope to enroll in an English course taught by a native speaker from the United States. It's a wonderful thing to keep trying and have goals, even if they don't turn out as expected, we always win.
At the beginning my posts were not voted, not that now I get a lot of votes, but I can't complain, I have done great. I have stayed here and I will continue here, because I bet on this project, I have already heard it on several occasions, that decentralized cryptocurrencies are the ones that will stay and will be strengthened in the future. Which has a lot of logic because it is not necessary to see a graph to understand that it is not a ponzi scheme.
On the contrary, here everyone contributes and makes decisions together and for the benefit of all. That is why whenever I write I do it with the objective of being able to contribute something. Because that is what Hive is about, not doing what the others do, blockchain, that only a few benefit and those who reach the last do not have so much power, so I also understand Natalia's advice when she says that "no vote is guaranteed" or "spamming" for the purpose of earning rewards in a not very organic way.
I rather understand that what is sought is to maintain the prestige that the platform has achieved, not only with the economic mentality.

The third thing I learned is that there is room for everyone in Hive and that we can all grow.
