Mis pequeños bienvenidos a un nuevo post de ilustración, el día de hoy les comparto un poco del proceso que realice para hacer unos stickers navideños que me encargaron para Hive.
No saben lo que me emocionó hacer estos stickers porque yo soy una fan más de la navidad. E cuanto termina la temporada la extraño y a medio año ya quiero empezar a decorar, aunque Eddie siempre me dice “Gris, falta mucho”, pero yo llevo la navidad conmigo todo el año.
Para estos stickers pensé en las decoraciones navideñas tradicionales gringas como las esferas, gorros, botas, coronas, etc. He de decir que en mi familia nunca se puso árbol, solo nacimiento, pero siempre tuve deseo de tener un árbol de navidad y por fin se me hizo el año pasado, así que el próximo lunes Eddito y yo decoraremos la casa.
Por ahora decoraremos Hive con estas pegatinas que nos representan a nosotros como la gran familia que somos y el calor de hogar navideño que ya está la vuelta de la esquina. Para hacer los bocetos use la aplicación Procreate y después las exporte para trabajarlas en Affinity Designer.
Una vez en Affinity Designer vectoricé cada pieza de cada diseño, les puse color, luz y sombra, este proceso es muy entretenido y laborioso porque se tiene que manipular nodo por nodo para ir dando la forma, mientras hacía esta tarea estuve pensando en los colores que utilizaría y que son los que más dominan, principalmente verde, rojo y amarillo.
Espero este material les guste y los usen en estas fechas decembrinas que llegan en breve a nosotros. Espero más adelante poder hacer más, así que se aceptan comentarios y sugerencia de ideas para hacer más imagen gráfica para Hive y las de más redes sociales dónde estamos la familia Hive.

My little ones, welcome to a new illustration post. Today I'm sharing a little bit of the process I did to make some Christmas stickers that I was commissioned to make for Hive.
I can't tell you how excited I was to make these stickers because I am a fan of Christmas. As soon as the season ends, I miss it, and in the middle of the year, I want to start decorating, although Eddie always tells me, "Gris, there's still a long way to go", but I carry Christmas with me all year long.
For these stickers, I thought of the traditional gringo Christmas decorations such as spheres, hats, boots, wreaths, etc. In my family, we never had a tree, only a nativity scene, but I always wanted to have a Christmas tree, and I finally got one last year, so next Monday, Eddito and I will decorate the house.
For now, we will decorate Hive with these stickers that represent us as the big family that we are and the warmth of the Christmas home just around the corner. I used the Procreate application to make the sketches and then exported them to Affinity Designer.
Once in Affinity Designer, I vectorized each design piece and put color, light, and shadow. This process is entertaining and laborious because you must manipulate node by node to give the shape. While doing this task, I thought about the colors I would use and the most dominant ones, mainly green, red, and yellow.
