El Sueño "The Dream"
Por años mi sueño ha sido ser capaz de tocar y cantar mis canciones favoritas. Desde que tengo 14 años de edad, he pasado muchas horas practicando en mi cuarto, soñando despierto e imaginando cómo sería tocar en escenarios. Tocar frente de una audiencia siempre me ha parecido una excelente oportunidad para compartir un momento especial con personas que estén presentes.
For years my dream has been to be able to play and sing my favorite songs. Since I was 14 years old I have spent many hours practicing in my room, daydreaming and imagining what it would be like to play on stage. Playing in front of an audience has always seemed like an excellent opportunity to share a special moment with people who are around.

La emoción que se vive al estar arriba del escenario, es algo difícil de expresar con palabras, pero trataré de explicar cómo es para mi a continuación. The excitement of being on stage is something difficult to express in words, but I will try to explain what it is like for me. When I am about to go on stage, the feelings I experience are approximately in the following proportions: 40% nerves, 40% excitement, and 20% fun/satisfaction. But after I play the first song the ratio changes to approximately 60% fun/satisfaction, 30% excitement, and the remaining 10% are nerves.

Me gusta definir un Palomazo como esa oportunidad especial que se nos brinda, de subirnos al escenario de forma espontanea, ya sea para tocar alguna canción que el resto de la banda conozca o para improvisar.
La historia de este video, estuvo interesant. Mi amigo y mentor Karl y yo, tuvimos un viaje de trabajo en el que nos tocó dejar un avión para mantenimiento en Pro Turbine, un taller muy profesional especializado en motores Turbohélice localizado en Hot Spring Arkansa. El mantenimiento iba a tardar aproximadamente 3-4 días, así que nos dimos a la tarea de buscar actividades interesantes en el area. Lo primero que el mecánico Chris sugirió, fue visitar el Ohio Club.
I like to define a Jam as that special opportunity we are given, to get on stage spontaneously, either to play a song that the rest of the band knows or to improvise.
The story of this video was interesting. My friend and mentor Karl and I had a business trip where we had to drop off an aircraft for maintenance at Pro Turbine, a very professional shop specializing in [Turboprop] engines (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Turboprop) located in Hot Spring Arkansas. The maintenance was going to take about 3-4 days, so we set about the task of looking for interesting activities in the area. The first thing that mechanic Chris suggested was to visit the Ohio Club.

Puerto Vallarta Live!
Aquí, estabamos de visita en la costa pacífica, en Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, México con mi tía Ginnie, con Gogy (mi papá) y con unos amigos. En este viaje, planeamos aterrizar ahí antes de continuar con los vuelos largos que estabamos haciendo para acumular horas de vuelo para mi licencia de piloto comercial.
El conjunto recidendial en el que nos quedamos, cuanta con una palapa & bar, en donde se reunen los húespedes para pasar un rato agradable. En esta noche, tuvimos la suerte de que estuviese tocando el grupo de Rock/Blues local. Naturalmente, pedimos el Palomazo y el grupo accedió muy amablemente.
Here, we were visiting the Pacific coast in Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, Mexico with my Aunt Ginnie, Gogy (my dad), and some friends. On this trip, we planned to land there before continuing with the long flights we were doing to accumulate flight hours for my commercial pilot's license.
The apartment building we stayed at, has a palapa & bar, where guests gather to have a nice time. On this night, we were lucky enough to have the local Rock/Blues band playing. Naturally, we asked for the Palomazo and the band very kindly agreed.

El siguiente Palomazo es probablemente mi favorito. La canción "Aeroplane-Red Hot Chili Peppers". En 2013, nos encontrabamos trabajando en el evento de paracaidismo anual de Semana Santa en Zicatela, Puerot Escondido. Mi amiga Monika "Pelos" Dávalos, quien a su vez es amiga de Alejandro Blumenkron, me consiguió una oportunidad para tocar con Tío Gus, una gran banda de Funk/Soul que me gusta bastante.
Alejandro Blumenkron un año después tendría una participación increible en el casting para La Voz México.
The next Jam is probably my favorite. The song "Aeroplane-Red Hot Chili Peppers". In 2013, we were working on the annual Semana Santa skydiving event in Zicatela, Puerto Escondido. My friend Monika "Pelos" Davalos, who in turn is a friend of Alejandro Blumenkron, got me an opportunity to play with Tio Gus, a great Funk/Soul band that I like a lot.
Alejandro Blumenkron a year later would have incredible participation in the casting for La Voz Mexico.
