Compartiendo con los amigos luego de dos años de aislamiento.//Sharing with friends after two years of isolation

A lo largo de la vida, tenemos la oportunidad de conocer a centenares de personas y, con algunas de estas personas se logran crear lazos de amistad que perdurarán a través de los años, una amistad que te une gracias a los hijos, muchas veces esos amigos llegan a ser nuestros compadres de bautizo, estos amigos nos conducen a una serie de momentos únicos e irrepetibles, en especial durante la infancia, de nuestros hijos.

Throughout life, we have the opportunity to meet hundreds of people and, with some of these people we manage to create bonds of friendship that will last through the years, a friendship that unites you thanks to the children, many times these friends become our compadres of baptism, these friends lead us to a series of unique and unrepeatable moments, especially during childhood, of our children.

El fin de semana pasado aproveche el paseo por la playa, para visitar a unos amigos que teníamos más de 2 años sin verlos, nuestra llegada fue una gran sorpresa, ya que nuestra visita coincidió con el cumpleaños de unos de los niños. Nuestros amigos nos recibieron como era de costumbre, nos invitaron a cenar en su casa, así que me puse en orbita y ayude a freír el pescado, mientras que mi hija ayudaba a nuestra amiga Kati y su hija Lucia.

Freír pescado no es mi pasión, pero en estos momentos es necesario la colaboración, para hacer de estos momentos un agradable recuerdo. El pescado lo acompañamos con unas deliciosas y calientes arepas, unas tajadas de plátano. Compartir en la mesa, fue muy gratificante luego de unos cuantos minutos frente a la cocina, recibiendo el calor, que además el gato de la familia disfrutaba, mientras el olor a pescado invadía la cocina. No hubo manera de sacar el gato de la cocina, en un principio temí por el, luego los niños y Kati me dijeron que estaba acostumbrado a meterse debajo de la cocina. Tuve mucha precaución para no quemarlo mientras freía cada pescado. Si pudieron observar las cocinas son industriales, ya que estos amigos tienen en su casa un hogar refugio, el cual sirve de apoyo para aquellas personas que no cuentan con alimentos en sus casas, Kati y su esposo reciben ayuda de muchas fundaciones y en especial de la iglesia, En verdad ellos realizan una gran labor a diario.

Frying fish is not my passion, but in these moments it is necessary to collaborate, to make these moments a pleasant memory. We accompanied the fish with some delicious and hot arepas and some plantain slices. Sharing at the table was very gratifying after a few minutes in front of the kitchen, receiving the warmth, which also the family cat enjoyed, while the smell of fish invaded the kitchen. There was no way to get the cat out of the kitchen, at first I feared for him, then the kids and Kati told me that he was used to getting under the stove. I was very careful not to burn him while frying each fish. If you could see the kitchens are industrial, as these friends have in their house a shelter home, which serves as support for those people who do not have food at home, Kati and her husband receive help from many foundations and especially from the church, they really do a great job every day.

Como madre y esposa, es una de mis responsabilidades cocinar a diario, pero en esta oportunidad, mi tarea tan solo fue freír el pescado, mientras que Kati, su hija Lucia y mi hija Hive account@katic-19c se encargaron de realizar las arepas y freír las tajadas, y el picar el limón, esa fruta muy apropiada para sazonar el pescado.

As a mother and wife, it is one of my responsibilities to cook every day, but this time, my task was only to fry the fish, while Kati, her daughter Lucia and my daughter Hive account@katic-19c were in charge of making the arepas and frying the slices, and chopping the lemon, that fruit very appropriate for seasoning the fish.
