Estoy migrando mi cuenta, al final les hablaré sobre ello y las razones que me llevaron hasta eso, ahora presten atención que el tema de hoy es muy importante para todos dentro de la plataforma y es que tiene que ver con:

• La seguridad de tu cuenta
• Las llaves o "keys"
• Cuenta de respaldo
• Cómo protegerse

Si quieres asegurarte de que no corres ningún riesgo en esta plataforma te recomiendo que leas este post.

Les cuento, hace unos meses que publico con miedo, y se preguntarán ¿por qué?; bueno, actualmente no tengo las llaves de mi cuenta, de esta en la que publico, eso quiere decir que estoy expuesto a perderla y no tengo forma de recuperarla, basado en mi situación quiero aprovechar para advertirles y hacerles conciencia sobre estos temas.

¡¡NO PUEDES PERDER TUS LLAVES!!
Ahora menos cuando estamos cerca de un "hard fork" (este término hace referencia a bifurcación) lo cuál va a traer entre otros cambios según lo debatido en el "Hive Fest" la actualización de el uso de las llaves y el poder que tiene cada una respecto a nuestra wallet o cuenta en general, pueden leer más sobre la conferencia justo aquí en este resumen de Hive account@manuphotos.
Como mencioné arriba uno de los principales errores que cometen los nuevos usuarios de Hive (incluyéndome en ese entonces) es que no le damos la importancia que tienen estas "keys", y por supuesto sabía que tenía que guardarlas pero realmente no conocía qué tan perjudicial pudiera ser perderlas hasta el punto de tener que realizar una migración de cuentas.

Cayendo en otro tema está la billetera, al final estamos hablando de activos, crypto y transacciones que mueven este ecosistema, es MUY NECESARIO tener configurado una cuenta de respaldo para casos en los que pudieran vulnerar la seguridad de tu cuenta o robar y cambiar tus claves, en esos casos mediante sus importantísimas llaves "master" y "owner" mediante las cuáles van a verificar que en efectos son dueños y señores de su dinero, deberán realizar el debido proceso para recuperarla, cosa que no puedo hacer ya que perdí las llaves de mi casa, y ningún cerrajero me creerá y me dará una nueva para entrar sino puedo probar que vivo allí.

¿Cómo protegernos? A la hora de crear una cuenta en el ecosistema depende de la interfaz de la dApp que usemos para ello, en mi caso mi cuenta fue creada usando PeakD a través de un amigo y pagando los 3 Hive que diferencian esta cuenta de una gratis, de esto pueden conocer más adelante a través de las guías de la comunidad. En este caso la cuenta de respaldo que mencionaba antes pasa a ser por defecto la cuenta desde la que se creó la nuestra pero tenemos la posibilidad de cambiarla, hay algunas comunidades que sugieren nombrar a su testigo para este medio ya que pueden facilitar el proceso para usuarios inexpertos. Y lo otro es hacer incapié en el tema de las llaves, PeakD las utiliza a través de Keychain donde sí se guardan la claves "active", "posting" y "memo" pero la "owner" y "master" les recomiendo que anoten muy bien, aseguren y respalden de varias formas, me di cuenta de que al crear la cuenta para la que estoy migrando y que dejaré debajo para que esté claro, usando Ecency como medio recibo las llaves al correo electrónico con el que creamos la cuenta, lo cuál me da cierto nivel de seguridad y respaldo, no obstante además voy a mejorar el tema de la seguridad esta vez con varias copias de seguridad.

Resumen del día, bueno quiero avisarles a todos mis seguidores, devs y curadores de Hive que luego de consultarlo con algunas personas y tras ver actividad medio sospechosa lo más seguro es que abandone mi cuenta actual Hive account@lilsnake, voy a cortar mi actividad acá y a partir de este momento comenzaré a publicar en Hive account@snakelab. Aclaro esto ya que no quiero crear dudas sobre cuentas alternativas o actividades maliciosas dentro de la comunidad y así espero que tomen conciencia con este caso quienes puedan leerme. No es una despedida, si tomo esta medida es porque precisamente planeo seguir acá en el ecosistema y no pienso abandonarlo ya que acá he aprendido muchísimo.

As I mentioned above, one of the main mistakes that new Hive users make (including me back then) is that we don't give these "keys" the importance they have, and of course I knew that I had to save them but I really didn't know how damaging it could be to lose them to the point of having to perform an account migration.

How to protect ourselves?
