Hello, dear community, I hope you are doing well. Today I come to introduce myself.
Mi nombre es Luz Vicente pero todos me dicen Luge, crecí en un hogar de padres separados por lo que mi niñez transcurrió en gran parte en la casa de mi abuela materna, de la que aprendí muchísimas cosas, por ejemplo a hacer arepas mientras me contaba las diferentes anécdotas familiares anteriores a mi nacimiento, mi abuela ya no está pero todas sus enseñanzas y esos momentos compartidos siempre estarán en mi corazón. Todo lo que soy, mis valores, las ganas de aprender y la forma tan analítica de ver la vida se la debo a mi bella madre, que con todo el amor se esforzó y con su ejemplo me guió para que cada día yo trate de ser una mejor mujer.
My name is Luz Vicente but everyone calls me Luge, I grew up in a home of separated parents so my childhood was spent largely in the home of my maternal grandmother, from whom I learned many things, for example to make arepas while she told me the different family anecdotes before my birth, my grandmother is no longer here but all her teachings and those shared moments will always be in my heart. Everything I am, my values, my desire to learn and my analytical way of looking at life I owe to my beautiful mother, who with all her love made an effort and with her example guided me so that every day I try to be a better woman.
Estudié en la UNEXPO donde me gradué en Ingeniería en Telecomunicaciones, también estoy terminando la tesis de la Maestría en Administración de Negocios, siempre he disfrutado estudiar, leer y adquirir aprendizajes nuevos sobre los diferentes aspectos de la vida, a veces la persona que uno menos piensa le deja un valioso aprendizaje. Al tiempo de graduada trabajé como analista en una empresa privada, me encantaba lo que hacía aunque el ambiente laboral no era el idóneo por lo que al año conformé una pequeña empresa de tecnología con grandes compañeros, realmente amo lo que hago. Además de ello, me gusta la cocina, la encuentro relajante, sobre todo aquellas recetas que se hacen en el horno, soy autodidacta por ensayo y error pero he ido mejorado mis recetas con el tiempo, las recetas que más atesoro son las que he heredado de mi amada familia que tienen como agregado llevarme con sus sabores a momentos hermosos compartidos con mis seres queridos. Me encanta comer, así que ese es siempre la excusa de encuentro con las personas que quiero, ya sean preparadas por mi o en algún local comercial cercano.
I studied at UNEXPO where I graduated in Telecommunications Engineering, I am also finishing the thesis of the Master in Business Administration, I have always enjoyed studying, reading and acquiring new learning about different aspects of life, sometimes the person you least think leaves you a valuable learning. After graduating I worked as an analyst in a private company, I loved what I did although the work environment was not ideal, so after a year I formed a small technology company with great colleagues, I really love what I do. Besides that, I like cooking, I find it relaxing, especially those recipes that are made in the oven, I am self-taught by trial and error but I have been improving my recipes over time, the recipes that I treasure most are those that I have inherited from my beloved family that have as an addition to take me with their flavors to beautiful moments shared with my loved ones. I love to eat, so that is always the excuse to meet with the people I love, whether they are prepared by me or in a nearby shop.
Entre tantas ocupaciones y estrés de la vida diaria encuentro un poco de paz, tranquilidad y relajación pasando tiempo en la naturaleza al colocar una hamaca en mi jardín, escuchar la brisa en los árboles y a las aves cantar, es lo que me ayuda a reencontrarme conmigo misma y a planear mejor las cosas que quiero conseguir.
Amidst all the busyness and stress of everyday life I find a little peace, tranquility and relaxation by spending time in nature, putting up a hammock in my garden, listening to the breeze in the trees and the birds singing, helps me to find myself again and to plan better the things I want to achieve.
Disfruto de hacer ejercicio, aunque deje de ir al gimnasio en cuanto empezó la pandemia ya que era uno de los lugares donde era más fácil contagiarse de este terrible virus, aunque al final no pude escapar de él porque me contagié el año pasado, viviendo momentos de mucha incertidumbre. Ahora realizo ejercicio en casa y hago caminatas a un parque nacional cercano con mis amigas y vecinas, dichas caminatas empezaron en plena pandemia, y decidimos hacerlas para liberar la mente, compartir y distraernos en los momentos en que estábamos llenos de tanta ansiedad.
I enjoy exercising, although I stopped going to the gym as soon as the pandemic started because it was one of the places where it was easier to catch this terrible virus, although in the end I could not escape it because I caught it last year, living moments of great uncertainty. Now I exercise at home and take walks to a nearby national park with my friends and neighbors, these walks began in the middle of the pandemic, and we decided to do them to free the mind, share and distract us at times when we were filled with so much anxiety.
Soy una persona muy organizada en cuanto al aspecto económico, me gusta planificar cuáles serán los ahorros y los gastos con respecto a las entradas de dinero, también tengo una cartelera donde ordeno las cosas materiales que deseo ir adquiriendo y otra donde se encuentran las cosas intangibles que deseo con todo mi corazón.
I am a very organized person in terms of the economic aspect, I like to plan what will be the savings and expenses with respect to the inflows of money, I also have a billboard where I order the material things that I want to acquire and another where the intangible things that I desire with all my heart are located.
